Cyclist friendly with excellent breakfast
If you want a B&B that is well located, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and serves superb freshly cooked breakfast, then look no further.Just did coast to coast bike ride and wanted somewhere for the night. Wouldn't normally write this up but what a little gem this place is. Well situated being close to the harbour and town centre. Room was spotlessly clean with good shower, tv and integral DVD, tea & coffee making facilities and main thing quiet at night. However, the real stand out for the stay was the full English breakfast. Choice of cereals to start with tea or coffee and all cooked fresh. Extra thick bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, Black pudding, perfectly cooked poached egg (+ choice of fried or scrambled), fried bread and toast. Absolutely scrumptious and worth the stay just for the breakfast.

Best bed and breakfast in bridlington
We stayed with caroline and alec for one night and we could not of been made more welcome nothing was to much trouble. The rooms where very clean and the beds very comfortable me and my wife had a great nights sleep.The breakfast was fantastic I would recomend this b & b to anyone I will definitely be going back

Faultless and friendly
A very warm and friendly welcome to their bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed and breakfast was situated well for town and the sea front. The breakfast was fantastic and good value for money!!

Fantastic experience
Recently attended a TUC conference at the Spa in Bridlington and stopped one night at the Oakwell guest house. I cannot fault the place. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of amenities (TV, DVD, tea tray etc). The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is small but perfectly formed. The owners Alec and Carole are the real jewels in the crown. Very friendly and happy to go the extra mile. I don't often go to Bridlington but would happy to return to the Oakwell if I did.

lovely B&B
Stayed here for only 1 night in September. very welcoming couple. Lovely house,stayed in room 4 with hubby and 7 year old son. everything you needed. breakfast was fab all freshly cooked while you waited.would go again.
