Not close to London center but very easy access using Central Line metro. Quite new Building well modern furnished with good service at convenient price. Free Breakfast not super but also not that bad. Free internet also available in the whole building.Will be back for sure..

I've stayed at this hotel this December (2012) and enjoyed every minute of it !The rooms are clean, the breakfast is superb and tasty and the stuff is always there for helping.The Underground station is about 100 meters from the hotel, that's great for travelling the city and getting to the airport (Stansted in my case). The only con is that the rooms are tiny, there isn't enough space for 2 pieces of luggage...High recommended hotel ! Have fun travelling London :)

I am a great IHG supporter but on this occasion I was not so happy. This time I booked four rooms as there were 8 of us but when we arrived we were told that only twins were available and eventually one double was found but not before something of an argument as to whose fault it was. I do not recall exactly what we were offered on the IHG site but I seem to recall that whatever you choose you cannot take a mix of options and I suspect that this is where the problem lies as we actually wanted a mix of doubles and twins.After arguing the toss we eventually were offered a free night's parking for one of our cars. I must say that for the ¿¿10 we paid for the second car, writing this off could have saved a lot of time and arguing and also lost goodwill.Being a platinum member I should have had an upgrade but the rooms are all the same and this hotel at least makes no concession to this status and offers nothing to the platinum member. In the room I found by accident, literally, a building defect. I went over the the window to look out and actually hit my head on the glass! The reason is that the net curtain was in between layers of glass and the glass was so clean that it was in fact invisible. Luckily the impact was not substantial and I suffered no serious after effects - more a bit of shock at what happened. This is a safety issue - it could have been far worse.Beyond that this is a typical Holiday Inn Express - cheap and cheerful save this one was not cheap, even for London. Also as you go into reception, there is a board which states that the room tariff is ¿¿229 - I did not pay that but I simply do not understand why such rates are published. I would never pay that sort of price. Is it supposed to make us think that we are actually getting a good deal at the standard IHG published price? The Travelodge not a couple of miles away is not dissimilar save it does not give you breakfast but is significantly cheaper.Unfortunately the air conditioning in the room did not work; it just pumped out "air" regardless of what temperature you set it to. The result was that I was very hot in the night which affected my ability to sleep.One good point - it is right next to the tube so getting into town is very easy.Conclusion - budget hotel at non-budget price

Stayed here twice in quick succession over two weeks and both occassions I could not fault the standard of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. Surprisingly rooms to the rear, which overlook the North Action Tube Station were quiet. They are also fitted out to a high standard and very comfortable. The price includes breakfast and although I only had the cereal and croissant's there is a much wider choice, including hot sausages and scrambled eggs. The staffr could not have been friendlier and it was a pleasant change to find such a happy group of people, There's also an excellent pub just across the road, where excellent bar food is served in the evening. It's about 20 minutes into Central London on the Central Line and is ideal if you want to avoid all the noise and bussle of staying there. All in all, tremendous value for money and I'll be back without any hesitation.

Stayed for four nights with my family in a room with two double beds. We arrived from Heathrow airport directly to the North Acton tube station, which is a two minute walk from the hotel. Traveling from Heathrow to the hotel is easy enough, but two line transfers are required and takes approximately 1-hour. The hotel is located in a mostly business/industrial area with not much to do in the area. There are a couple of small markets nearby, a fueling station with drinks/snacks, and a pub across the street - The Castle. We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and given a room on the third floor. The room is the typical European HIE and on the smaller side. The room was fairly basic but well laid out. While a bit small for the four of us, the room was neat, clean, and well stocked with clean towels. The hotel offers free wi/fi but you have to go down to reception everyday and receive a new pass code for each device (this was annoying). While not much to see in the immediate area, it was a good base for sightseeing London. The breakfast was good and included eggs, sausage, beans, fruits, etc. The hotel staff was helpful in assisting us with maps of London, directions, and requests. The close proximity to the tube station really made this hotel convenient. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would consider this hotel again on our next visit to London. During our stay, we had dinner/drinks twice at The Castle Pub. We thought the food was good and hot, and the beers were good. I must say during our 16 days in Europe, the folks in London were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered. While trying to navigate the tube and city, folks would frequently stop and give us assistance. Kudos to the HIE London - Park Royal and Londoner's in general.
