Pleasantly surprised
We booked this hotel back in February of this year for a Legoland package, after booking I came onto trip advisor and read some of the awful reviews and must admit I was starting to dread our stay but I feel i must write this review as we were pleasantly surprised from the minute we arrived. There were 6 of us in our party and we had booked 2 rooms, check in was very smooth and we were treated in a very friendly manner and got our cookie and milk vouchers for the kids, upon arriving at our rooms they were adequate for what we wanted, maybe not the most comfortable pull out bed for the children but other than that clean and tidy and spacious. The next test was to be breakfast the next morning, once again this this more than surpassed our expectations, plenty of choice and friendly staff always willing to help. Whilst sitting having our coffee we noticed that they did a restaurant special in the evening so we enquired and they booked us a table for 6. We had a lovely day at legoland and were shattered when returning to the hotel so were so glad we had booked to eat in and once again we could not fault the meal, we all had different selections and could not fault any of them and the kids meal was more than enough and was also free as part of the package, our waitress was very helpful and worked very hard, I think she was named Marlena??, may I take this opportunity to thank her if this is correct.All in all we all left very happy with our experience and would certainly not hesistate to go back, yes the rooms may be a little basic and I'm not saying they may be in need of a lick of paint but the main thing is they were clean, they staff were friendly and helpful and we feel for what we paid we got far more than we were ever expecting. Good value for money
We booked through legoland to stay 3nights whilst on our 2day legoland visit. I choose this hotel as it suited our needs. We were taking our 6 and 1 year old children legoland and needed somewhere comfortable to sleep after our long days at the park.Our room was set up with the sofa bed and travel cot for the children and everything was clean and tidy. Only downside was me and hubby had single beds. Full breakfast was included every morning which was a good standard. Staff were pleasant.We really enjoyed our short stay knackered out by our full days at legoland the hotel was just what we needed to get heads down in the evenings :)

Don¿¿¿t believe what they tell you
We booked this hotel because we were told that laundry was available for guest use. In an email reply, the exact wordings from Karima A. of reservation said ¿¿¿Unfortunately we do not have a coin operated laundry facility but we do provide laundry facilities which you can ask upon arrival at reception for information.¿¿¿But when we checked in and asked for the ¿¿¿laundry facilities¿¿¿, we were told that there was none. The hotel staff just plainly lied to me before my booking¿¿¿ totally unacceptable. Besides, the hotel is far away from Heathrow ¿¿¿ the rental car shuttle, which routinely drops guests off at airport hotels, would not go there. If we did not go through the trouble of riding the Hoppa, it would have cost us ¿¿¿25 from Sixt to the hotel. There is no restaurant nearby so the only choice is the one inside the hotel. Service was good at the restaurant but the food was bland. Lastly, the room was basic, not completely clean, just as you may expect of a 2-star motel.

Awful! Avoid like you would the plague.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights as we were taking our young son to legoland. Our room was of a good size, the mattresses werent comfortable though, very lumpy and our sons chair bed hadnt even been set up!! The hotel was boiling, we switched the air con on in our bedroom, which might I add had a low temperature of 19 degrees... After two hours we were still all sweating and couldn't get our son to sleep, we complained to reception three times when they eventually gave us a fan that did not help either, we couldn't have the window open as it was far too noisy right next to the motorway. The next night we complained again when the man behind the desk decided to inform us he could manually turn our air con down to 17 degrees, this helped a little but not very much! Why couldn't they have done this the first three times we had complained?! I dread to think what the hotel would be like when it's actually above 10 degrees outside! Our son wanted to play on the Xbox provided in the bar area, older bar man was rude and unhelpful. The lady we encountered for breakfast could barely speak English and was also very rude. In general I would not recommend this hotel to anybody that wants some sleep and some friendly staff. Absolutely disgusted with the service, we weren't even asked about how our stay was upon checking out, we just got a simple "that's fine".

Over night stay
We stayed overnight before a flight out next morning. The hoppa bus system worked well to and from airport. The staff was very helpful. Rooms adequate, baths and showers good. TV's older, but we were not there for that. Parking was not an issue for us as we were using the bus and underground systems. Overall, the price was the determining factor and it worked well for us for a one night stay and would stay again.
