Very happy with hotel
My husband and my self visit Amsterdam for a few days in May i visited back in Feb as well..this hotel was so much better and same price .staff was friendly ..i was offered a upgrade which we took .Every thing was walking distance tram just down the road number 9.. We did go to the zoo which was just infront of hotel great day out...reading the reviews i was worried about the small bathrooms i am a big lady ..but i need not to worry it was fine no problems shower was fine ..i would 100% go again ..did not have breakfast there so can not coment on that... we had breakfast at a local cafe and it was nice and cheap lovely clean and very friendly staff : )

5-10min walking to cuty center
Good for a short trip in amsterdam.. Room¿¿s size is enough, don ¿¿t be too "fat" or big for toilets, don ¿¿t pay more than 110euros.. Service ok, people polite, no big noise, cleaned every day. Breakfast expensive, but 20 meters further very nice breakfast caf¿¿.

Well priced and cleaned
Well located very close to the zoo, very clean in general and the only down side was the size of the bathroom which made it hard to use. Over all not bad at all for a mid city stay for one night - though we were woken up by a strange bird call from the zoo in the morning!

Good hotel, excellent location
Great location, in a very green and quiet area of Amsterdam, extremely close to the city center but still away from all the craziness that is Amsterdam at night. Rooms are a bit on the small side, and walls are a bit thin (this seems to be a common feature in much of the city), but otherwise everything was clean, neat and well appointed.The beds were good, mattresses a bit on the hard side for my own personal taste - but otherwise excellent. The breakfast buffet was really good, I very much appreciated the fact that both full/continental/scandinavian-style breakfasts could be had. A special note on the chocolate spread, as well as the variety of bread available (3 types of toast, 3 types of rolls, pain au chocolat and croissants).Overall, I warmly recommend this hotel - especially given the rate.

All Around Average
Nothing stood out about this hotel. The staff was of average friendliness, the room was about what you would expect for Europe, and the bathroom was pretty small. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, which we enjoyed. I would probably look elsewhere to stay next time as nothing would call me back to this hotel.
