Good location, room cheap and clean, staff very kind
We escaped from hotel we booked before after one night. We had to look for a room for 6 nights and we found Hotel Caravelle in the next street. The man at the reception was really kind and helpful as it was not so easy to make a room free for 6 nights. But they resolved it and we had a very nice stay. The room was clean and lightish with a big and comfortable bed. It was cleaned each day. The whole staff was very kind and breakfast was good. Excellent value!

Great Stay and Location in Paris
Very good location and convenient access to the Metro and Bus Stations. There was a Carrefour nearby which was great for all purchases.The staff- Majed and the other day Gentlemen were brilliant and so helpful that it went beyond the pale of duty. They were very knowledgeable about the routes and attractions and always willing to help.Hotel was clean and I noticed some bad reviews previously which seems that people were expecting too much and have to keep their price points higher.Lots of night life in the adjoining area for adults ( not suitable for children but has no effect as once inside the room all was fine)Lots of eateries and stores nearby and also walking distance to major attraction

Average hotel - will not come back
That was a very average hotel, but still we ok with it. The room had big balcony windows which added some kind of Parisian feeling. The room was small with a small bathroom with shower. We stayed there for 2 night, and that was just ok. We didn't take breakfast there as there were many cafes around to breakfast with coffee and croissant. I would recommend to choose another hotel in Paris.

Budget hotel done well
This hotel has suffered some poor and unjust reviews below from people who clearly expect 5* for ¿¿50 per night. Clearly this is not going to ever be the case in such an expensive city as Paris. What this hotel does is provide very cheap, well located and clean accommodation. The staff are exceptionally friendly and speak good English, the room although suffering from old fittings was large, clean and better than a lot of more expensive Paris hotels I have stayed in.If you are on a tight budget and are looking for no frills then I can not recommend this hotel enough.The only negative is due to this being an old building on a busy road there was a fair amount of noise in the morning.

Average Hotel Near Pigalle
Paris hotels are expensive. Period. For around 70 euros per night this was a good deal on booking.com. The room was big, but had a stuffy feel to it. Of course, you get what you pay for and it was old and dingy. It was in a pretty good location right near the Pigalle metro stop and walking distance to Montmartre. It is nothing special, however. But, good value as far as Paris hotels go. I was in a pinch and needed to stay near a friend's place so I chose it. I would do more research and find a more renovated budget hotel if you are looking for value.
