We stayed at Rosemundy Cottage in Devizes over the May Bank Holiday weekend and weren't disappointed. The owners did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The rooms are spotless and have a luxurious feel for a b&b. The breakfast was delicious, with locally sourced produce (the hen eggs come from their own chickens). We'd definitely recommend this place.

Having spent a fortnight in Devizes for work, I was fortunate enough to stay with Tony and Zita at Rosemundy Cottage. The cottage is spacious, well maintained, with plenty to do and read. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast excellent with plenty of options to pick from, all of which is locally sourced. Tony and Zita are active in the Devizes community, and therefore are well placed to offer suggestions for restaurants, places to visit or tour when you have free time, and are more than happy to assist you with any arrangements or booking you may need. Having never visited Wiltshire, I can say that Tony's efforts ensured that I got to visit and enjoy many of the area's charms. Quite apart from just the accommodations, the guests were terrific as well, and I quickly made friends with several. If you are in or near Devizes for any reason, you positively MUST stay at Rosemundy!

Our local friends recommended Rosemundy and after reading all the good reviews on Trip Advisor, I thought it was the nicest place in town. We weren't disappointed! Tony and Zita are the best hosts you could wish for. The welcome tea and homemade cake on arrival are a lovely touch. The cooked breakfast which is all local produce (the eggs are from the hens at the end of the garden!) is just one of the few things which show the attention to detail that Tony and Zita go to to make sure that your stay there is exceptional. They were full of help and advice throughout our 4 day stay. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Due to my work commitments, I have just concluded a stay of nearly 12 months, 3 nights each week. From this perspective, I can categorically advise that Rosemundy Cottage is definitely the place to stay if you need or want to be in and around Devizes and Wiltshire for business or pleasure! (For pleasure, Devizes happens to be at the centre of lots of tourist places in Wiltshire. I brought the family down to the area for a visit last summer. The children enjoyed the swimming pool at Rosemundy!)From the very first meeting and warm welcome from Tony and Zita, you know this is going to be an excellent place to stay. Not enough characters allowed in this report to do it justice but to start: very clean comfortable rooms, lots of home made produce, excellent home made cakes, excellent location overlooking the canal and near the centre of Town. The hosts have it spot on in terms of if you want a chat or if you want to be left alone. It is up to you. They get visitors from all around the world who come back year after year!Check out the website about the accommodation and green issues etc.My last piece of advice is, book early as they are often full.

Stayed for one night. As I had come to Devizes by public transport, Tony picked me up from the centre of town, and took me back there the next day. Wonderful warm welcome, exceptionally clean and well-furnished rooms. Lovely local breakfast too. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, many thanks to Tony and Zita, will definitely stay with them again!
