Great hotel for conference & SPG
Had a wonderful stay. Mr. Kielkiewicz got me blocked into a Club room ahead of time despite me being booked at a conference rate, and he had a friendly, handwritten note waiting for me upon arrival. Staff were all quite pleasant, especially the Club Lounge attendants. Myrick's, the hotel restaurant, has some great food as well (the tuna is a steal).The hotel was recently renovated and the freshness is nice to experience. A free shuttle from O'Hare departs every twenty minutes. It is pretty far away from Midway ($130 with Uber). The atrium layout (it was originally an Embassy Suites) is conducive to large gatherings of folk - many from the conference could be found milling about on the atrium floor, and being able to see this from any level is what made this possible. Runners should know that there is a decent running park a mile up the road.

Nice hotel but no room for me when I checked in!
I booked at this hotel because it was near the airport and my flight arrived at 4:45 am. My reservation was made for the night before but I needed a place to get some sleep and shower when I I arrived so that I could be fresh for a business meeting later this morning. It was so important that I even called the front desk the Evening prior to remind them of my early morning arrival to ensure they wouldn't give up my room. I arrived at 5 am with no room and a completely oversold hotel. They offered to send me to another property but it would have been further sAway and would have meant even less sleep for me. A couple people checked out while I was standing at the front desk So we agreed to have maintenance clean the room as best as they could. Gary the maintenance guy was very helpful. As a Starwood gold member I am extremely disappointed and have lost Confidence in starwoods ability to manage a unique reservation for my business travel. It's now 6:30 am and Iam just getting my room. I have an important meeting today and will not be rested. Too bad i had a bad experience, hopefully they get their act together with their reservation system because it is a nice hotel.

Nice Airport Hotel
I've stayed here several times because our satellite office is in the same complex. They recently remodeled so its a fresh look. The rooms have always been clean and quiet. They have a separate office and sofa tv area in each room which is great if you invite your co-workers in for a few minutes. The beds are comfortable and clean. It's not a fancy place but it has the necessities for a good night sleep plus an airport shuttle which is convenient. The do have a small bar restaurant area so you aren't stuck in your room at night if you want to catch up with friends. It's not a Ritz or JW but it works for the normal business traveler who only needs to nice place to sleep and work.

Fresh new decor - a nice surprise for a business hotel.
Just spent a night here and was so pleasantly surprised at the beautiful decor, almost like a boutique hotel. My suite was done in nice tones of taupe and beige, the bedding was premium, the furniture was really lovely. Staff was very nice. Was just here for a quick overnight, but wished I could have spent a little more time enjoying this lovely property. Nice lobby bar, too. Did not eat here, but room service coffee arrived right on time. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, ridiculous fees
Wow. Sheraton Chicago O'Hare charges $9.95 per day per device (!) for Internet, and $17.95 for breakfast. Country Inn And Suites provides these services complimentary. Guess what hotel I won't be staying at again?
