Friendly, lovely bedroom, comfortable bed, good size en-suite bathroom. Toiletries, hairdryer, ironing board and iron. Quiet and peaceful. Spotless. Taxi fare from the station is very reasonable and the place is easy to find.I've already booked to return.

My husband and I stayed for one night over the late May bank holiday weekend and we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. We stay in Dorchester about 3 times a year and now that we've stayed here, we will definitely return. Gareth was very welcoming and was able to loan me a charger for my Blackberry! We stayed in Room 7 which was larger than we expected and extremely well dressed and maintained. The en-suite was a very good size and had all that we needed. We had thought that it may be noisy being at the front of the property and near to the junction of two roads but this wasn't the case at all. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals and cooked options too. Our only niggle was having to sit at a large dining table rather than separately as a couple - it makes it slightly awkward to have a conversation! Nevertheless we would recommend Bay Tree House.

We stayed for one night in May 2013 at the start of our tour of the West Country and to see friends in Dorchester. We had a warm welcome from Gareth followed by a cup of tea and chocolate biscuits. The room and en-suite were spotless and the bed comfortable. The location was very quiet at night and perfect for where we needed to be. Freshly cooked breakfast the following morning was in the conservatory. There was also a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and fruit juice. Overall a very pleasant stay - we would definately return and recommend.

The Bay Tree was spotless and very comfortable. It's within about 10 - 15 mins walk of the centre of Dorchester so very convenient. Loved the tv which came out of the end of the bed! Dorchester itself was much more than expected. The Tourist Information gave a guide to several walks and the part to the Roman Town House and down by the river was particularly nice. Excellent place for a weekend away and superb value.
