Perfect cotswolds hotel
Booked 1 night to stay here in April via voyage prive. Excellent package deal, which included 3 course dinner for two, SPA voucher and accommodation. After an initial mix up, which I think in hindsight was our fault! We were offered a room upgrade which was a beautiful room with 4 poster bed, we preferred our original room which was more contemporary. Staff were faultless and nothing was too much trouble. The manager, Georgina, was one of the most helpful people we have ever come across in a hotel. Very accomadating, very knowledgeable and generally a lovely lady. Food was excellent. Good size portions! I have eaten in many high end, fine dining establishments across the world, and can say this was one of the most enjoyable!! Dog frinedly too! The only thing I can add is if you get the chance to try this place jump at it.Ps. Be careful of the complimentary sloe gin in the rooms, very potent!

Excellent....but
Our room was wonderful and this really is a hotel full of character and a great base for beautiful walks. We stayed two nights, the staff were first rate and the spa treatments excellent. We dined there both nights and the food is perfectly good if not outstanding. Have the crab and crayfish cocktail..wonderful All the public rooms are thoughtfully furnished and we came away from our mini-break feeling refreshed.But... and it is a big but....why on earth does a stunning15c dining room need constant background soul/rock musak which completely ruined the atmosphere. This continues at breakfast..like a dying wasp in your ear. I took this up with the energetic and endlessly helpful General Manager who said that guests just did not converse without music. The hotel guests did not look like the type who need to listen to 'Thriller' while munching their bacon and eggs in order to have the courage to talk to their partners. Pointless, unnecessary and utterly out of keeping with this otherwise excellent hotel.

Simply Beautiful
We had a wonderful stay at The Old Swan and Minster Mill. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a beautiful room in The Old Swan. It was traditionally furnished, but all the little extras like Sloe gin was super. We loved the turn down service of a sweet and hot water bottle. We also had the opportunity to have two spa treatments again very professional. On our last day we had a picnic made up. It was presented in a beautiful basket with rug as well.We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be spoilt.

Stunning location, beautiful hotel & friendly staff
Stayed here for a long weekend and had a wobderful room. We were upgraded for free on a arrival to a garden room and the views were stunning over looking the river. Although bathroom window looked onto next doors patio which meant you couldnt have it open but the room was beautifully decorated and was clean throughout. Staff were very welcoming and friendly will definitely stay again and do their recommended walks. Breakfast was always good with a wide selection and had dinner there as well which was good but somewhere you might eat for a specail occasion. Overall a fantastic hotel and would recommend happily to anyone and everyone.

Our perfect wedding - 30/03/2013
We had our wedding at The Old Swan & Minster Mill on 30/03/2013 and it was the most perfect day! The staff were friendly and helpful, the entire setting was just gorgeous and the food absolutely some of the best we've tasted. We can't thank everyone there enough for making our big day so memorable and special. If you're thinking of having your wedding here or simply visiting for a night or weekend, feel safe in the knowledge that you will be very well looked after at this fabulous hotel. We'll be back for our first anniversary, if not before. Thank you Old Swan & Minster Mill xx
