what a lovely hotel this was and just by chance! We have never been to St Just before and went down to visit family on holiday near Sennen Cove. We booked in by chance and what a lucky choice. Superb hotel, lovely rooms and service and a great location.

Just the job
Arrived at Hotel having had 7 hour drive plus unloaded van full of furniture into friends new cottage . Very friendly & welcoming young staff. Had nice meal & spent pleasant evening in bar , good ale "Doombars" . Rooms were spacious with large modern ensuite Bed warm & comfotable. Breakfast was very good in large conservatory. Hotel right in centre of town/Large village . Really like ST just lovely place . Will definately go again

good base for touring or overnight stop
had booked four rooms for one night for a classic car tour we were taking with 8 people. had a breakdown on the way so were a little disjointed arriving, but they were very friendly, sorted us a table out for eating, even though some arrived a little later. food was very nice. it would have been nice to have been able to stay up and have a later drink as residents after the bar closed, but understood why not! breakfast in the morning was lovely in a lovely room with really friendly staff, couldnt have been nicer. bedroom was nice, although as with all old buildings you could hear everything downstairs from early on through the bedroom floor! not much in the immediate area that we could see, but having said that we were only there for an overnight stop... all in all a nice place to stay.

so disappointed
When we booked our room we asked for sheets and blankets NOT duvets. Damon who took our booking assured us that that would be no trouble at all. We drove there through a very heavy mistlike fog and rain. On arrival we unloaded our bags and drove the 150 yards to the public car park and trudged back to the hotel. We signed in and were shown the very neat restaurant and the conservatory breakfast room,then our room which was very clean with large windows plenty of drawers and hanging space BUT a duvet on the bed. We spoke to the manager who told us that they only have duvets. He apologised for the misunderstanding and was genuinely sorry for our wasted journey. This was a great pity as we were looking forward to exploring Lands end & Sennen cove etc

Very friendly place in the heart of the town
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there: friendly host, tasty breakfast, unusual and quirky layout of the building - all count for the 5 stars of the review for this hotel.All cool stuff in this area of Cornwall is easily walk-able (though we must admit that we walked so far that had to grab a taxi for a trip back!)Highly recommended.
