Weekend Break
Hi just spent an overnight stay at Homelands celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the garden suite , private, secluded and cosy. Everything was spottless clean and wanted for nothing, Brian and Deborah were perfect hosts , friendly and relaxing, from arriving to leaving. The only downside of our stay , was not being there longer. Next time it will be, see you soon. Thanks

Absolutely perfect
What to say about Homelands where we stayed just last night? Everything is done well. The Garden room was charming, peaceful and the beds dangerously comfortable. The welcome was generous and friendly and the breakfast would grace a 5 star hotel, from the crisp linen to the delicious, hot, locally sourced food. If you stay in Barnard Castle its simple, stay here. Cav.

Cycle trip
A very good bed and breakfast. Welcome cup of tea and very friendly owners made this a lovely trip. Breakfast was exceptional with a delicious fruit salad and gluten free bread. Bikes safely locked away.

W2W Cyclists find the perfect pit stop
Barnard Castle sits on the Walney to Wearside cycle route, so if your looking for somewhere to rest your aching body after climbing the Pennines then homelands guest house is the perfect place to stay. We were made very welcome ( a complementary beer was just the tonic we needed ), the rooms were excellent, and the hearty breakfast really set us up for the final push to Sunderland. I would recommend this house to anybody
