Good hotel for budget
A very good hotel for the money, in a location outside the centre of Berlin but in an area with some good facilities for restaurants and shops. A friendly service from staff, and a very clear and comfortable hotel.I would stay here again on my next visit to Berlin!

Nice modern hotel, good well sized room (for 2).We liked:Smart modern rooms, location (near to Kur..Dam) and easy walk to Wielandstrasse U-Bahn.Breakfast good, if a little expensive, bar prices very good for a hotel, quiet location (other than the trains)We didn't like: separate single duvets on the double bed.You might not like: close to railway (you will hear trains at night), no kettle etc in room (we didn't care, you might), glass walls to bathroom (we thought it was quite cool, you might not)

For a convenient base to explore Berlin... great hotel
We stayed here in early January 2013 for 2 nights. For us, the hotel fit the bill just fine. Location wise it's great which is why we chose it. Easy to get to anywhere in Berlin and straightforward to connect with the main stations and onto the airport.The hotel is within walking distance to the Ku'damn and there are lots of nice restuarants near by - including a top notch Spanish restaurant right next door which we would definitely recommend.The room was clean, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed as somewhere to relax and get some sleep on a busy city break. Some things you should know about Energie Hotel - not problems, more 'niggles'..The bathrooms do not have the privacy that some may require. It's not bad really but the bathroom is seperated from the sleeping area by a glass screen and door. Toilet is behind a wall and completely out of view but there are times when you might want more privacy..There is no wireless wifi in the rooms - only ethernet. Not much good for iPad,phone etc. Wifi in the lobby worked fine and is free.Trains - yes it is next to rail tracks. However, we were at the back of the building (apparently the worst side for noise) and it really didnt bother us at all - with the windows shut you could barely here any outside noise.For us, this hotel was absolutely fine for a couple of nights, comfy, well located and a really good price. On a budget - recommended.

Business Stay
Its right next to the railway line - the trains seemed to run all night, I stayed here 4 nights in total, the room was very clean but apart from that there really isnt much to say about this hotel, I have been to Berlin three times and there are much better hotels out there. Wont be going back again.

Nice, good location too basic though
Nice small hotel very good location. However, hotel is too basic and lacks some very basic necessities such is laundry service, wifi service in rooms etc.Service is very good though and breakfast has a wide selection.
