Renovations
We stay here often. Going through renovations. No help with bags at curbside. No restaurant or lounge. Difficult to navigate elevators. Check in desk temporarily on 3rd floor, but the elevators still say 2nd. Stay somewhere else until renovations done. They didn't even offer free wi-fi during the mess.

Very nice updated hotel
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We loved the remodeled rooms with features like the fully lit bathroom mirror, bath fixtures, motion activated led night light, large Samsung TV, and the overall feel of the hallway and rooms. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as were able to walk to most museums, parks, beach, and all the shops and restaurant. They are in the process of remodeling the lobby, so check-in is on the 3rd floor.

A Fun Getaway
Mostly, my husband & think a hotel is a hotel, but this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! It is under construction, and we were just there May 8 - 11, which is at the tail end of construction, but aside from the check in desk being temporary, you couldn't tell. The room was VERY clean, nicely decorated - very modern, yet cozy. The staff was absolutely remarkable in every way. They all went out of there way to acknowledge us, even just in passing, to say hi and ask how we were doing. The concierge and check in desk staff went out of their way to help up with getting around the city. I would absolutely stay here every time! Thank you Hyatt!

Enjoyed our stay :)
My fiancee and I stayed here from May 9-12 and we really enjoyed staying here. It's close to the magnificent mile (lots of shopping) and many tourist attractions. We stayed on the 16th floor and it was so quiet. Our room was a good size and it was pretty, clean and had a modern design. The staff was very helpful and nice. On the first day we asked for ideas about tourist things to do and places to visit, and the greeter (I believe her name is Denise) was super helpful! She gave us a map with all of the notes and ways to get where we needed. We walked to all of the attractions (Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, etc). The best part was that it was so close to everything - you can walk to the shopping area, trendy bars and clubs, family friendly areas and tourist attractions). There were renovations going on but we didn't hear any noise or have disruptions. We used a door by the surgeon association building and that was no issue either. My only con was that we were close to hospitals and once in a while in the morning you'd hear the ambulances. Overall, we had a great stay and I'd definitely come back and recommend it to others :)

Very nice stay
The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed the large screen Samsung TV in the room. The bathroom is very nice as well. I had read a review complaining of water pressure issues in the shower. I enjoyed several nice showers without any issues. The hotel is in a great location, easy access to great shopping and restaurants. My only complaint would be the noise from the ambulance sirens heading to the near by hospital.
