On 9th of July I arrived on a school trip, expecting a rather average hotel for the price, however I did not expect to arrive at such a dismal run down sight, which is unsafe and unsecure, the wifi is extremley confusing and poor,the shower consisted of a bath with a shower head detatched, fortunatley we had a door which led through to anothers room, which we kept open and they had a cubical shower which we used gratefully and whom we were good friends with, however that is another downside considering the rooms link with a single door! The back door did not luck and anybody in the back carpark could enter, such a dismal hotel.No matter what ANYBODY tells you, never stay here, im 14 and I could make a hotel 10 times better with my salary, such a disgusting hotel, should be shut down.On the plus side we only stayed here for 3 nights and then moved onto the next hotel which was 4 stars, however it does not take away the horror of staying in such a place. Finally, I forgot to mention, the mattresses were appauling, fortunatley I brought my own pillow which I gratefully used, however the pillows and duvets provided honestly felt like sleeping on a potato sack

Our school visited here 1 week ago for a trip. We stayed for 4 nights and we had around 60 pupils to accommodate.When we first arrived at around 9pm, the hotel staff were still sorting out rooms and room keys even though we had called the hotel in advanced what time we would be there. After half an hour of waiting our school finally could hand out the room keys. When we and my room mate arrived into our room, we were hit with a disgusting smell of smoke! We opened the window straight away which is not child-friendly (Opens fully and huge!) The rooms were basic but fine for a few nights sleep. I had a sofa bed which was incredibly uncomfortable and had no bedding. I wen't down to the reception to collect the bedding and started to relax a little. Except from the fact our pajamas started to smell of smoke. The showers were lovely and there was always hot water even at 11pm at night! Sleeping was hard as well as the bed as every noise made in the hotel echoed into our rooms. The tiniest tap on the wall was like a bang. The next morning, we wen't down for breakfast to find a poor selection. It would be okay for one day but the repetition for 4 days straight wasn't good. You had a choice from salami, croissants, stale bread and cereal that looked at tasted like bird food. I only had croissants at my stay.Overall it wasn't a pleasant stay! Usually I'm not a moany person and get on and do with what I've got. But this was a time to moan. Oh yes and the rooms were extremely clean though they just smelt! We later found out that the maid smoked in our room.

We had a group staying there 9th July on recommendation from another schools tour operator. It was abysmal. Poor insulation, rooms that were dirty and not cleaned prior to our arrival, no bath plug, a broken mirror and inadequate bedding. Breakfast was a poor to say the least and the hotel bar consisted of a barrel of beer behind a curtain with a very limited number of glasses. Staff were also rude and disinterested.The old adage of you get what you pay for is exemplified here. Avoid it like the plague - we are!

Well where to start lol,!st, No one spoke english , which made our stay so frustrating !!!.2nd, No resturant at weekends great ,so had to get a takeaway kebab it was nasty.3rd, lamps in the middle of the headboard ,so you hit your head every time you lean back or get up to quick .4th,bath had no plug ,went to see the desk person had to wait while he watched football on tv.then got one from another room ?.5th,bathroom in disrepair have pics.6th,i needed to use a printer ? well i may have asked to go to the moon.no help there could not understand me .so i went over the road to a great hotel called hotel IBIS it was great let me use there printer ,was so helpfull and could speak english.lastly ,I asked at reception directions to calais never even heard of it ,so again went over to hotel ibis they even drew me a map and it was spot on .Thank you hotel ibis.WOULD I GO BACK HERE .NEVER !!!!!!
