Arrived Thursday 30th May for 1 weeks holiday. This holiday took in our wedding anniversary in which within a couple of hours of arrival, we received a free bottle of champagne from the hotel in which both my wife & i thought this was a great gesture. This hotel was faultless, the meals & variety was outstanding. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The poolside staff were brilliant & very friendly. The entertainment team would come around the pool area's with complimentary champagne, fruit kebabs, sweets etc. Overall great holiday

My family and I spent three days at this lovely hotel and couldn't fault it. The location was fantastic being walking distance from two beaches. The service was warm and friendly. The food choice during meals was very extensive and last but not least, our room was huge with a magnificent view. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Just had an excellant week at gloria palace,the staff are first class the management should be proud of them, with out going into to much detail everything was spot on.The only one little niggle and it is a little one was the food seems to be geared towards the Germans but we always found something, we stayed in block 1 on the seventh floor so we could see everything the pools and the sea, we will be going back at some point in the future

We have just arrived back home from 2 weeks in Gran Canaria staying at the Gloria Palace Amamdroes Thalasso & Spa Hotel.It was recommended to us by our friends of twenty years, They stayed at the Hotel last year and said it was 1st rate, we can agree with their observations 100%Food- excellent Breakfast Lunch, and Evening Meal, very pleasant smiley faces, the choice of Food no matter what nationality there was choice for everyone. Bar Staff also great, Everywherewas very clean,all around pool area was washed down early every morning. Entertainment was much better at this Hotel than other Hotels that we have.stayed in, we have been in many.Bedroom spacious we had room 1401B floor six in Block 1, we had quite a good view.Now for the (don't like) the Bathroom, for anyone small say 5ft the sink was hard just have a quick wash as the towel holder attached to the sink was an obstruction for us tiny people, also the bath was a little hard to get in and out as there was not anything to get or grab hold to steady onesself. All in all it is a brilliant hotel, in our opinion. we booked all inclusive, and it was worth every penny, There were lots of Irish people there, they entertained my Husband and myself in the aftenoons, they return to Southern Ireland before we came home, and they really missed. I hope this info is helpful ......we are hoping to return depending on the pennies next year.

We are just about at the end of a terrific week at the gloria palace and have enjoyed our stay here, the views from pretty much any part of the hotel are wonderful. The access to the walkway to either puerto rico or amadores is extremely easy to use and gives a loverly walk out either at night or during the day. Getting a ferry boat to the market at Mogan on Fridays is a must, this is a beautiful little town which is called the little Venice locally for very good reason, had a good haggle on the market and came away with some decent buys. Hotel facilities are really good, the rooms are very large and comfortable and also kept pretty clean each day, the pool areas are very tidy and there hasn't been any rush for sun beds. Food is plentiful, tasty and has the usual all inclusive buffet style, which i guess can be a little boring after a while but restaurants locally are very good and reasonably priced if you need a change.On a slightly sour note though i cannot understand some of the silly little rules that we have never experienced before on an all inclusive stay that happen here. Drinks are provided at the tables at meal times, you can order a glass of wine at dinner then keep catching the waiter for top ups whenever you want but to have a bottle of the same wine at your table will cost you extra? We arrived about 9pm a week ago and so are leaving late (5pm from the hotel) we have to check out of the room at 12pm, which is normal but our all inclusive status finishes then also even though we are staying here the rest of the afternoon? We want to keep our room until 5pm and are happy to pay the extra 35 euros for the privilege but have to wait until the morning of our departure to find out of we are allowed, does no-one know who is booked in the hotel tomorrow? Despite the daft little things we have very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone else although be aware if you are booking all inclusive it is only under certain circumstances.
