It started badly with the hotel trying to make me pay again for a room that had already been paid for by my employer. The key was eventually handed over, no information given about breakfast, where in the hotel the room was or anything else for that matter. The room was tiny, with an electric radiator 6inches from the bed. The was mould on the window frame, which was easily visible as the net curtain wasn't long enough. The loo wouldn't flush properly and the water in the shower was tepid. Breakfast was awful, I'm not going to elaborate but I managed two mouthfuls. Do not stay here. Was my employer trying to tell me something?

I stayed at Lindal last year, and found it very dirty - there was loads of filth and bad smell everywhere (couldn't use toilet - wasn't cleaned!). However, I was in London in June, and Lindal was the only affordable place I knew of - was very nicely surprised! The room was clean and tidy, bed was done the way it should have been, and the housekeeper so friendly! She'd always offered clean towels and tea, coffee etc. I don't recall seeing her there last year - I think she's new - but she's done a great job there. Will defo come back, if she serves me again!

To save you the heartache please do not book this hotel. It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and it very over priced. As we pulled into the carpark there were pigeons and feathers/rubbish floating about, the hotel looked shabby with old dirty nets. I had to ask to be moved to another room as the first one was terrible and very noisy as if a shower was running. The gentleman was very nice about it, however the second room was not much better, the beds were broken, the bathroom was dirty, the windows needed a good clean, the floor boards were coming up, the wardrobe was not even a wardrobe and there were portable heaters with no smoke detectors within the room. To get to the room we had to walk throught he resturant which we did not eat in after seeing the kitchen door open. The blankets are filty and the pillows were all blood stained, very filthy. This really is not a nice place to stay. Stayed for a concert at wembly as the man told me it was a 10 minute walk, beware it is actually 1 hour and 9 minutes away. Book elsewhere to avoid feeling like we did!!!

stayed here for two nights in May 2012, found it to be clean, tidy, basic accommodation, breakfast was fine and the location ideal for Wembley and the shops, bars etc around Harrow-on -the hill.Fine if you are just after budget, no frills accommodation- would use again if I was going to Wembley.

Wow what a place.I'm working away in Ruislip and am staying overnight for a couple of days a week.This place pops up as very cheap and convenient. My I should of read the reviews first!The place is falling to pieces. The decor is 30 odd years old. I had a pillow the thickness of paper, this disgusting flower patterned orange douvet cover, disposal shower curtains (yup you read it!), ancient looking electric heater which I didn't dare turn on, carpet which were folding at the corners of the room, disgusting wall paper, ancient pictures on the wall, the most horrendous smell in corrordoors, the door that took 2 mins to unlock, the bar with the nacard tv, the badly patched up walls from previous openings.And finally. I got moved room after braving a shower (filthly shower head and mould everywhere) because the water had leaked into the room below.Do you really need this?! Even tradesmen looking on the cheap for a night - don't do it.
