Wonderful place to stay. Clean, heated towel racks and much bigger than your regular European hotel accomodations. Food was good but there was a little bit of a language barrier at the front desk but nothing you wouldn't overcome easily enough.

Not a 4 star
From the unfriendly reception to the room with the wooden floor broken and dangerous it was a disapointment. How they got a 4 star rating I can't imagine. More like a travelodge in the UK. Breakfast was understaffed so people couldn't eat what they wanted as the food had gone. Won't be going back!

Beauty is skin deep!
On first inspection I was very impressed! Family rooms are great value, two separate rooms, beautiful marble bathroom, balcony and kitchen in a closet. As I settled in however, I grew a little less impressed. The kitchen would have to be rented at an additional Euro 20 per day, pillows were rock hard, there was a full bag of trash in the kitchen closet (however I'm sure it was an innocent mistake as the rest of the room was lovely and clean). There was some sort of electrical box on the wall near the shower floor which would start a loud buzzing which in turn made the key entry box buzz loudly everytime the water was used...a bit of a worry!Nice continental breakfast but no other meals served in the hotel at all. A good 10 min ride to the airport but is probably one of the nicer airport hotels around.Despite all of the above, I would consider staying here again if using Ciampino airport.

Ok, however should be 3 star!
Hotel was ok, we had a big room, situated next to the main building, nice bathroom, balcony, free safe.Cheese and fruits for beakfast - not only sweet things.Safe and calm neighbourhood. Airplanes weren't so loud, Ciampino airport is not that busy. Fresh towels everyday. Seven nights for 300euro is a good deal! Don't forget that this hotel is far away from the airport. Heating was controlled from the reception desk - not from the controller in the room, so we've asked for a fan heater. Low wi-fi signal. Fridge was out off service. Housekeeper forgot to close our room, so it was opened for a whole day. It wasn't cleaned everyday. No english-speaking channels in tv. Dirty armchair.Should be 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Nice & comfortable, but not a 4-star hotel
This is a nice hotel, but I think it's more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. For the money, it's very good. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked perfectly (shower, lights, sink, tv,...). Everything was modern and up to day (flat screen tv, new beds, nice flooring, and pillows were new and firm). Access to the main road isn't effortless. To go North towards Rome, you first have to head South about half a mile and then do a U turn.The shower had great pressure and was very hot which was very helpful after a long day of walking all over Rome. Breakfast was excellent; they had a nice variety of food (cereal, breads, ham & cheese, croissants, doughnuts, and other desserts). The wi-fi wasn't as fast as I'd like all the time, but it worked well in both rooms we had.There was no way to control the temperature in the room. Since we stayed in April and they were still heating only, it got a bit warm at night even with no covers. Also, the hotel looks nice & new, but the neighborhood seems a bit run down.It's only about 10 minutes from the last stop on the Metro LineA that runs into the heart of Rome, so it was very convenient. Overall, our stay was excellent. The pros definitely outweigh the cons for staying here, but I still don't think it's a true 4-star. Expect a 3-star, and I think you'll be completely satisfied.
