Good Value for London
Having a pile of Avios points to spent, a weekend in London was in the offing and the St Giles at Heathrow was a good value offering for a base of operations to visit London, with Feltham Train station just over the road linking to Waterloo station in just over half an hour.Check in was a bit hectic, as this a very popular airport hotel but we were dealt with soon enough. The room was clean, but very warm, water bottles make excellent tools to hold windows open! as otherwise it swings closed by itself. We were sufficiently high up that noise was not a problem and Heathrow is a couple of miles away so airport noise was not an issue either.Breakfast was rather bizarre, verging on awful, it was a cross between a full English and a Continental, with tiny little sausages which I swear I can still taste - avoid!There are plenty of local facility's including Supermarkets, Fast Food, Restaurants and takeaways so you will not have any problem getting supplies.

Good location and parking on site.
Found this via a search engine, we had an early morning flight and were looking for overnight plus a weeks parking. All the other hotels in the area wanted us to drive to the car park in the morning and get a shuttle. However the St Giles offers parking on site. We were pleasantly surprised, the rooms are basic but clean and the bar and restaurant are very good and surprisingly good value for money. Easy transfer by bus the next morning and on the return to collect the car. Better than having to negotiate dropping the car first thing then catching a shuttle.I would recommend and use again.

Ideal for Twickenham
Fifth year staying here for the rugby and It's just ideal! 5 minute drive off the M3 and across the road is Feltham train station which takes you straight to Twickenham. The staff are always polite and so helpful. You're 2 minutes from Feltham which has all your needs, Pub's, Nando's, Tesco's, ASDA etc. The only moan was the bed wasn't that comfy this year.

Great value hotel. Ideal for Twickenham
We have just returned from the St Giles hotel after booking 6 rooms for 12 people as we were all going to see the Army v Navy game at Twickenham.we had read mixed reviews, but as we were paying ¿¿60 per person for two nights, we were happy for somewhere just to sleep!On arriving at the hotel, the desk staff were pleasant and helpful, even though we were arriving at 10.30pm.I checked us all in and we went to our rooms.I had organised the trip and was more than surprised about the room.We had booked doubles, twins, a triple and a single.The rooms were spotlessly clean.Myself and my husband has a double. The bathroom was sparkling clean with plenty of towels.The room had a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, plenty of wardrobe space, flat screen tv, safe and fully controllable heating/cooling system.The breakfast was great quality. Full english with a choice of eggs. Toast, jam, croissants, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices and tea and coffee. It was buffet style and you could have as much as you liked.The train station was literally two minutes walk away and a five minute ride to Twickenham.The hotel bar was very reasonable, ¿¿3 for a pint, however I think that these were special rates for the Army/Navy weekend. the bar food was also cheap at ¿¿5.95 for burger and fries and the restaurant was ¿¿10.50 for two courses from the set menu.I did not eat there but a few people in our party did, they said it wasn't gourmet but that the food was ok.All in all, we had a fab weekend and I am waiting for the rooms to be released for next year!!We and all members of our party will definitely return, even if it's not for the rugby as it was only 20 mins on the train in to London!

Cheap, comfortable
You get what you pay for at this hotel, chosen for location. Restaurant staff really good, my meal was really salty and an exchange was made with no problem. The cleaner in the room seemed to have an objection to removing the beer glasses from the night before, and to washing the cups, but we sorted that ourselves, and would stay here again.
