Amazing Hotel.
We booked this hotel to have a 3 days of R&R prior to moving to a house at kata Beach, fortunately we were upgraded to a pool suite. All I can say is amazing, we didn't want to leave. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the world but I think this one takes the cake. Very spacious with kitchen and separate bedrooms, the bathroom was another suite to itself. Such luxurious surrounds. The infinity pool was fantastic and much bigger than other pool suites I've had. The hotel has a well equipped gym, spa and tennis courts. The restaurant is lovely and looks over the main pool, their breakfast is well thoughtout and we really enjoyed it. Daniel and his team are all lovely and very attentive, I cannot fault this hotel at all, only sing its praises.

Amazing Property!
The Andara was the highlight of our trip to Thailand! From the moment you arrive, the staff is nothing but friendly, attentive and always smiling. There are some hills to get to your villa, but the staff drive you around on a little buggy, which you never need to wait 3 minutes for.The rooms were stunning, with a very large kitchen, living room and outdoor patio with a private pool overlooking the water with plenty of seating and beds to lay out on. The food was delicious and the hotel was always willing to drive you into town, if need be (the main town was about 20 minutes away).

The Pool of the 2 Bedrooms Pool Penthouse Suite is not really a pool.
We are staying in the 2 Bedrooms Penthouse Pool Suite now, Room #431 of Andara Resort.This is a very beautiful hotel. Our suite is very big with a stunning view, especially the view from the master bedroom. The service is wonderful as well. The staff speak good English with outstanding service. However, we are VERY disappointed with the so called Pool in the roof top. I would rather call it a square big jacuzzi. With such a price and such a nice suite, we do expect to have a pool that we can swim on it. We can only sit on this jacuzzi. We've found no picture of that pool anywhere before and made this wrong decision. So I took a picture of it and show it here. So if you are looking for a suite or villa with a pool . This is NOT a choice for you.

Excellent stay
I have had an excellent stay at the Andara Resort. Daniel J. Meury and his entire team are very professional and treated me in a very natural and friendly way. They met all my expectations and I would recommend the Andara Resort very highly.

NOTHING SHORT OF PARADISE!
So my family and I just returned from arguably one of the BEST vacations we have taken in a very long time. The age group ranged from 3 months to 55 years - and ALL of us loved the hotel, including the infant! We got the private 5 bedroom villa and i have stayed at many luxurious hotels worldwide, but this property takes luxury and space to another level! HUGE HUGE rooms, the BEST personal butlers. Everything about the hotel rooms was well thought out - from the room design, the living room, the spa room in our basement, the game room which we extensively used. The villa pool deserves a seperate mention all together - very big, actually bigger than alot of hotel main pools!!!! We had 3-4 butlers attend to our every need, they lived in the same villa and took care of us like it was their own home, and we were their guests! the food they prepared was fresh, yummy and so well presented, we felt like every meal was a gourmet delight! Ask for Nao as your chef and make sure you ask her to make you Khao Suey - it was delicious! their freshly prepared papaya and mango salads were also AMAZING! Her team was just extremely efficient, they stayed in the bachground and managed to keep the place spic and span and cook up the meals atleast 3 hours before serving time! you can also have them set up dinner for your family on the gazebo by the pool! shockingly - not as many mosquitos, and their citronella spray worked wonders! the property is comfortably close to patong - which is the touristy locale. and it also has some lovely sundown bars closeby. the beach close-by is great for kids and adults - lots of space for sand fun, jet skiing for adults and the hotel provides nice beds - towels and water too. it also has some restaurants where you can get food and drinks if you'd like. im pretty sure, the hotel provides complimentary drop offs in the open top jeep buggies.To sum up: how much ever i rave about this hotel is just not enough, you would need to visit the hotel to experience how hospitable their service is, and how beautiful the property is! Also, SILK - is their fine dining thai restaurant overlooking the main pool, super pretty and delicious food, but we preffered having our cooks prepare it at "home" aka our villa!
