Stayed 2nd to 9th Feb 13. Reception area is smart and welcoming. Friendly reception staff, with good English. Massage chairs in reception good fun. Wifi was free in hotel, but best signal is on the ground floor (weak in bedroom). Bedroom was clean, tidy and came with safe in wardrobe. No fridge provided (may be available on request). Room cleaned spotlessly each day. Bathroom reasonable. Toilet roll holder detaches from wall easily, so have to tug carefully. Shower head holder, above bath, was loose but still performed adequately. Soap dispensers and hair dryer provided. Hotel location good. The area felt safe at night. Swimming pools were too small. I used the heated one, being winter. It was in a plastic conservatory type structure. Very warm water. Shallow. Only one changing cubicle with rusty lock, but works (due to high condensation in room). We and my friend were full board. Restaurant is in separate to main building, across narrow road. Breakfast and dinner were basic. Cheap food, possibly due to less custom, being out of season. Not impressed by most of the food, but seemed to improve a little on Friday/Saturday, with some fresh food prepared in sight. If you are a fussy eater, you may want to eat out a couple of nights a week. Entertainment this time of year consists of one friendly DJ, with little or no audience, consisting of elderly Europeans playing card games. Felt sorry for the bloke: decent, genuine guy, who seemed desperate for work at quiet time of year. Small bar attached to hotel. Decently priced drinks. Nothing flash, but had a good atmosphere. All in all, pleased with accommodation. Decent and what I'd expect of a three star hotel. Basic, clean, friendly. Just the food being the main let down.

Overall a great hotel, has everything you need. I am a 18 year old lad and it was my first holiday abroad without the rents. When I heard I was staying here obviously I came onto tripadvisor and checked the reviews. Now there are a lot of bad reviews and I can relate to them as I generally got the impression that this is more of a family hotel but for someone like me I was checking into Innovation In The Sun 2012! And aslong as I had a bed I was happy but this hotel offers so much more than expected. Yes the rooms are basic two single beds and a mini tv, I was impressed by the A/C as some of my friends didn't get that and I can't Imagine life without it abroad, but the catering is amazing a all you can eat buffet and actually decent food the resteraunt is very clean literally if you go up for seconds and leave your plate there it's gone by the time you get back! The hotel is situated in a great location if your hitting the strip every night, walk out of the entrance and your on it!! Also you have Funky Monkeys next door and all you fellow ravers know what I mean. All in all I think if your looking for a good time and a decent hotel book here I will warn family's though I don't think this one is for you. Hope this helps.

I have been in this hotel from apr 20 ¿¿¿ apr 30. 2011. The hotel is on the side of the main street which leads to the sea, about 300 meters from the beach. It is containing of two main buildings, and have open and indoor not large swimming pool. I was in the building near swimming pool. Rooms in that building are quieter, than in the other one. That is important because Lloret is the place for teenagers, and it is very noisy at night, so if you want to get any sleep at night, in most hotels it will be impossible. Rooms are adequate size, have terrace with chairs, and have a look at another hotel building. They have TV, TWC, and AC. You need to know that the walls are very thin, so if the guest in the other room snore, you will hear it. The best thing about this hotel is food. It has large dining room, enough space for all guests, very diverse food supply for all meals. Every day you will have different food offer, for all taste. The hotel is clean and towels are changed every day.

could have found a better hotel, food not good but plenty of restaurants at resonable prices. not impressed with pool areas. best to sunbathe on beach, pool area smells of food and 100s of flies impossible . entertainment all spanish not alot for us brits. rooms basic, clean towels every day. found a nice dutch bar called little titanic near hotel gran garbi. great fun, lovely people.

Maria del mar have a two part. In first part is reception, rooms, internet kiosk, in second restaurant and again rooms. I and my friend get rooms in second part. I don't know how appear rooms in first park, but we have very very big balcony. Bathroom is very clear, there are soup, hairdryer, tub. Towels changes everyday. So, in rooms have everything, what i need...except fringe! I don't can belive it. In spain is very hot, so I don;t understand why in rooms aren't fringes. This is only defect. Service speak to english, so i don't see problem with attend to something. Maria del mar is very very near centrum Lloret, it is the best, you have three minutes to mc donald or burger king, disco, pub. In restaurant are smorgasbord, so you can eat favourite meal. Hotel have two swimmingpool. You can use it 9a.m-7p.m.
