near beach and shops
only English couple there. Germans Dutch Polish, Russian.some nights Spanish came for dancingChristopher in bar very friendly and helpful. James the Manager very pleasant and Linda also very pleasant. Chambermaids very pleasant and do a thorough clean every day. Food average had to reheat and asked James for microwave, he got one next day. Pina waitress very plesant and always smilingg

A Bargain place to stay
We stayed here in July 12, was slightly nervy as this was a first time to bring my kids away to Spain. The hotel is very nice, staff are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The were a couple of negatives in that the hotel has an extremely small pool, although I guess when the beach is just down the road it's not a major head ache, also you need to be prepared not to get a subbed, snooze you lose as there are only 4 in the pool downstairs. There is another pool available but this is for over 18s and looked very nice although with kids we didn't get to go in it. Food in the hotel is very nice and you do get a mixture although as previous reviews mention they do like pork ! All in all I had a nice family holiday at the hotel and Calella is an ideal place to base yourself to explore this part of Spain as it has excellent train routes.

Simply excellent
Excellent location. Excellent customer service. Excellent food. Excellent accommodation. We enjoyed a wonderful week with the whole family. I highly recommend it and will surely repeat on my next trip to Calella.

Basic but Brilliant
I came on a trip here with some friends and it was outstanding. It is very cheap, but basic. The rooms were spotless and they were very comfortable. We had a half-board deal. Breakfast included a large range of traditional Spanish food aswell as an excellent range of English food. There was an unimited drinks service at both breakfast and dinner, however for the more popular drinks, i.e anything that wasn't fruit juice or water was in need of purchase, however at a reasonable price. There was a bar open in the lobby which was open early till late.Should we require any service of any size shape or form at any hour of the day the people that worked there spoke excellent english and were very happy to help at any hour of the day.The hotel is located in the centre of the town, so shops are literally all around. It is a simple layout of the town, so everything is easy to find on a cross-section, and the beach is around a 60-second walk from the hotel.The beach was incredible, Sandy, white and included volleyball nets built in.Well worth every penny!

enjoyable stay
we stayed for a week from 4th oct. The hotel is quaint,we had a balcony overlooking the pool,nice.The hotel is in a good location close to shops and beach and not far from the station.being a small hotel there perhaps wasn't the choice in food but enough to get by on.The bar didn't have barca v real available,so had to go to local bar,shame,drink prices good.Overall a good stay, thank you
