Stayed here 6 days. Felt like we were in a 3rd world country. No A/C upon check in. Waited hours for it to be fixed. No remote in room. Paint peeling from walls. Dirty walls. Housekeeping horrible. Corridor lights not working. Shabby furniture. 3 Euro fee to use the pool. Wifi only in hotel lobby. Bus does not go to city center - it goes only to Tiburtina Station. The bus itself was sweltering hot and nasty. No bus service between Noon and 4pm. Hotel is MILES from any attractions and our taxi expenses were very high as a result. It is not 3 miles from the center of Rome. It is about 20 Euro from hotel to Rome City center. Only 2 channels of English TV were CNN and BBC News. TV was old and went from color to b&w frequently. The lobby area was nice enough. The staff was not very friendly. We had to ask for things several times before they would address issues. Dirty carpeting in room. No handle on bathroom door. Trash in the parking area. Vending had some water and coke on first day, but was empty (and warm) throughout our stay. Breakfast is a joke. Served 7-11 it consists of croissants, 3 kinds of cereal, thinly sliced ham, cheese, bread. Please do not give this hotel your business. But if you do, do not take the train from the airport to Tiburtina. It is not a straight shot. Take the train directly to Termini station, then switch to the Metro blue line (in the same station - look for the red sign with the "M" on it). Get off at Tiburtina Station and take a taxi. Stay closer to Termini Station if you can. The area around Barbarini station on the red line has excellent hotels, Metro and bus connections. We also liked the area around Ottaviano Station on the red line near the Vatican.

Well wit good photographer you can do miracles... Place is definitely not 4 star hotel (should be some2/3 stars). Location is very unpleasant (we were lucky cause we had a car and good GPS). Rooms are small and the furniture very shabby (but not shabby chic). Smell in hotel was not pleasant at all, and outside they definitely have a problem with drainage. Breakfast is another horrible story. Very small offer (one cheese, one kind of ham, eggs and aged croisants). Definitely some thing I will never repeat

The hotel is miles away from all the Rome attractions, so unless your prepared to pay ¿¿¿20 per way in a taxi it can be pricey! Also swimming pool had no water in, despite it being 24oC and 27oC the previous day! Booked and paid extra for a superior room which if room was "superior" would of hated to see the standard rooms! Was also told breakfast was 9-11 so when we went down at 10.05 was then told we missed it as it was 7-10, so staff not clued up on basic hotel information! Wouldn't even bother using hotel bar as you wait around 20 minutes for a member of staff to even come to the bar and serve you!! Very noisey at night and rooms are only separates by a wooden door so you have people trying to open doors into your room!! Air con broke so had to sleep with balcony door open! The telly had one English Channel or you had to pay ¿¿¿19 a day to watch basic tv what is ridiculous! Also at the end of your stay they charge you ¿¿¿3 per person per night in tax charges! Would not recommend hotel and would advise to pay extra and stay in a closer hotel as its definitely not a 4* hotel as it states

I went to this hotel on a school trip. The hotel is very far from the city. you have either to take the the hotel bus or the local transport to go to the metro station. We staye on the first and second floor. The rooms were average in size with only one socket. They had a smell of damp but the bedding was ok. All rooms had balkonies. Breakfast was poor with no fruit. Coffee was terrible! The staff was friendly, you do nor expect the Italians to speak english but they tried. There were quite many school groups in the hotel, which means alot of noise at night.I wouldn;t recoment it to individuals but for school trips its just ok.

This hotel was very hard to find. we had the name of Quality hotel but it actually goes by Rouge et Noir and no one in the neighbor could point it out for us. The street signs are terrible in Rome and it is only by luck that we stopped at this hotel to get directions and realized that it was where our reservation was. The room was alright - I've had better but for the price it was fine.
