Week away with Gang ...
Excellent service, very comfortable beds and pillows! Chess Restaurant evening meals excellent and recommended, breakfast average. Within easy walking distance of good pubs, clubs and city centre and very convenient for trams and metro links to all parts. Airport pick up and drop off arranged and punctual. All arrangements and responses to booking questions very prompt and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again

3 nights in Budapest
Well-located, very clean and cosy hotel. The staff speaks perfect English, is helpful and attentive. Our stay in Queen's Court H&R was very pleasant.Breakfast-fresh and tasty products (but limited choice).Dinner at the Chess Restaurant - mouthwatering at reasonable price. Although, what I didn't like was that windows in the room were not soundproof - what could be annoying if you got the street-side room. The swimming pool area could be bigger - nevertheless I really enjoyed hot waters in jacuzzi/bathtub!All in all - the place is worth recommending, as well is Budapest ;)

Good Value
We had a suite facing the courtyard - good facilities nice bath and toilet but the shower was dreadful, kept falling down all the time and was in a really weird position on the side of the bath. Bed and pillows was too soft for me but husband happy enough with them. Walls were a little thin and i endured having to listen to next door getting 'down and dirty' for some time one night. Great price for B and B, although the breakfast wasnt great, slow on replenishing, fruit juice watered down and slow on service of tea/coffee/eggs - but it still did a good enough job and the staff were nice enough just not overly concerend about the speed of doing anything. A few tables and chairs in the courtyard which was pleasent for evening drinks outside. Good location about equal distance from the river as to Heroes square, all easily reached by the metro about 8 minutes walk away. The area appears a bit run down and dirty but in the cold light of day it was just fine - the same thing we experienced in Rome. Kiraly utca, the next street down, had lots of good pizza places, resturants and bakers on it and i can highly recommend (as an earlier review tipped me off ) Trofea restaurant - also on Kiraly Utca, but if you dont go early make sure you book in advance as we went twice and it was packed by 7.30 each night - great value and food was excellent quality, ¿¿14 for all you can eat buffet and drinks and a 10 minute walk back to the hotel. I was a little dubious of Budapest after all the 'dire warnings' in the guide books about, hookers, pick pockets, tourist scams and the like but its a great place and one of the few citys i would be happy to visit again, and if a good rate was available i would also return to the Queens court.

Professional, polite and outstanding
A small hotel situated quite centrally near a main traffic artery. It is in a quiet street in the old Jewish quarter. Breakfast is very good with high quality food. The personnel I'd pleasant and knowledgable. The room was a little bit on the warm side since the air condition turns on only when you enter the room. Cleanliness is perfect. Highly recommended. It has probably a very good fusion restaurant that we could not try due to lack of time.

"Happy in Hungary"
Although it seemed to be in a bit of a worn neighbourhood, the Queens Court is a new hotel built in the centre of the block with a nice, secluded courtyard in it's middle. Despite initial concern, the area is safe and clean and we never worried about coming home late. There's a tiny cafe right across the street from the hotel's entry with good, cheap cappuchinos and croissants. You're about 6-8 blocks from Andrassy and all it's shops, bars and restaurants. There's a 24hr tabac that sells cigs, snacks and booze just down Dob Utca about 100 ft. We didn't get a car and never felt the need for one, either. The staff is friendly, but the wi-fi only worked near the lobby. They have a computer for public use as well. Our room faced the courtyard and had all the facilities to cook your own meals should you desire.
