Great location
The location could not be better if you want to be in the centre of Gay Berlin. It is close to Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz underground station...

4 stars? LOL
It's a b&b place, no hotel. No amenities, paying in advance. No real security either which is not an advantage. Design only in appearance, while sporting lousy substance (no sound insulation to the hallway or the street, while very well insulated between the two rooms, no soap to wash your hands, no body lotion, only one 1 plug in the room, the fridge not cooling properly, the door has to be shut hard, producing tons of noise, stinks in the stairwell). Beige carpeting is definitely ill conceived. However, given the price and location, it is fair deal for the money. Tip: ironically enough, the cheapest room category faces the inner yard and is more quiet. Warning; some rooms are on the ground floor or in the basement! Contrary to some reviews here, WiFi was working perfectly.

Scandalous Hotel !
I had a reservation for 2 nights in this hotel last week end. Two days before arriving, I was victim of a brain attack and stayed in the hospital for one week so I had to cancel my trip to Berlin. Despite the fact my friend called the hotel on time to cancel the reservation they charged my credit card for one night ! I tried then to make another reservation and they refuse to consider the amount they charge in the bill of my new reservation ... They stole me while I was in the hospital.So next time, I'll stay in another hotel !!

Great location
The location could not be better if you want to be in the centre of Gay Berlin. It is close to Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz underground stations and also close to the KaDeWe department store. The beds are very comfortable and the area is quiet, so a good night's sleep is pretty much guaranteed. Some rooms have a balcony. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There is now Wi-Fi, (quite slow) in the bedrooms.The carpet needs replacing in some rooms as it is getting tatty. We asked for a light bulb to be replaced twice and we were left without for 5 nights! The cleaning lady disturbed us twice even though the "do not disturb" sign was hanging on the door.

Noisy
Nice looking hotel on chech in,freindly and helpful guy on reception,was given free wifi codes with having ask.Standard room on second floor with balcony,ok size though lacking in hanging space and place to put luggage.Bathroom looks quite smart but there were a lot of stains on the floor and around the sink stand. Climbing into/out of the bath/shower is a bit steep and slippery(I'm 6'2") The rubbish bins were both filthy with acculated dirt and what looked like mould. The bed was very comfortable.The curtains do not do a great jobe of keeping light out. There is also quite a bit of street noise pre 8am on work days.The bedroom door had over an inch gap under it,as the floors in hallway are wood then everyone coming past sounds like they are in the room.Both mornings there was a lot of noise from the cleaing staff,laughing /joking etc as well as vacuums . On the last mornings my door was repeatedly hit with a running vacuum. It then stopped moved a couple of doors away repeated then stopped. I guess at 9.30 the lady wanted people tith do not disturb signs to get out.If you are an early riser and sound sleeper it might be for you but I will not be back

Luxury
After 3 weeks of backpacking and staying in budgets hotels the Quentin Design was luxury! The room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and the bathroom was sooooo gorgeous! The people were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was fantastically decorated, warm and welcoming! Close to the metro we were able to easily navigate this busy metropolitan city. Close by are restaurants. Would for sure recommend!
