This hotel is a 4* one street back from the Markt Square, very quiet and so easy to walk around this wonderful city. (Be sure to go for a walk after dark for stunning photos. The service was great, porter service excellent, good breakfasts and front desk staff willing to help with anything you wanted. There are many hotels in Bruges, try this one.

Again my wife made all the arrangements for our family vacation. Of course she used Trip Advisor to secure all our lodging, because we trust all you who review the hotels and restaurants. What is it that we look for in a hotel? Well, we start with location, then amenities, availability and cost. Maybe not all in that order, but all these do come into consideration. The location of the Hotel Aragon is absolutely perfect if you are in Bruges to tour. It is right in the middle of town, so once you park your car, you don¿¿¿t even look at it again until you leave to go home (or go to the next location). We left the side door from our apartment and walked one block to be in the square of old town. It was too simple a location to tour from. The amenities were absolutely perfect. We were traveling with extended family, so we had a group of six, and reserved the apartment. It had two bedrooms, a living room with a pull down bed and a hide-a-bed, a kitchen and a full sized bath. One plus (that is a pet peeve of mine) is that there were plenty of outlets available. When touring, I always need to charge the cameras, cell phones, plug in the computer or whatever, and there aren¿¿¿t ever enough outlets. The Aragon had plenty of outlets for five camera charging, four cell phones charging, and a computer. Well done. The rooms even had a pants press mounted to the wall. If you are a coffee drinker, you may be like me, and wonder why they give us those garbage freeze dried coffee packets to choke down until we are ready to go to breakfast, but not at the Aragon. For the first time, I made a second coffee with their dried coffee. I wish I had the presence of mind to note the brand, but I didn¿¿¿t. The morning breakfast was good. Good meaning, small but good enough to start our day. The only thing I would have changed with the room is to separate the toilet from the bath, but that is a small issue. After paying for the room, I could not believe what we found when let into the room. The room was absolutely spotless and perfect for two families to travel together. For the price, I wondered if there had been a clerical error in our favor! For the cost, location, amenities and the wonderfully helpful staff (thanks for the restaurant suggestions) the hotel is truly in a class of its own. This hotel is well worth the rating you see that it has earned. My only regret is that I didn¿¿¿t schedule more time to stay in Bruges.Note: If you drive a van to this hotel, be prepared to get the van into the parking area. We drove a VW Transporter and barely fit.

We stayed here for 2 nights and could not believe it. We managed to get the apartments as we were 4 to a room and they are ridiculously good!!You would think, for the price, that they would be clean and comfortable but these simply took our breath away, they are like a big posh penthouse apartment in any swish major city - really really impressed. The staff were extremely friendly and the location is spot on!!If you go to Brugge, try to stay here as you will not get better.

We were 4 friends who visited Bruges in February 2013 for the Brugs Bier Festival.Hotel Aragon gave us an apartment really nice and quite big with a kitchen.Really nice staff, a central position, clean and good breakfast completed our journey to this wonderful city!

Very pleasant hotel,staff are friendly and very helpful.breakfast as standard plenty of food it never ran out.room tidy & always clean. 5minutes less from the main square. Probably not that wheelchair friendly, there is a lift but very small.
