We (couple) stayed for 5 days. Best hotel! Big rooms, very quiet, no noise from other hotel guests. Breakfast absolutely brilliant, they thought of everything, even champagne is available. Bathrooms have shelves (sooo necessary!) for all us ladies' pots and creams. The location is great, bus 200 in front of hotel runs every 10 minutes right through the centre of Berlin, very very convenient! Don't miss the restaurant Schoenbrunn in the park opposite, food delicious, location lovely. I recommend this hotel very highly!

Nice hotel and perfect location
We have stayed here several times due to the location. The Volkspark Friedrichshain is a perfect neighbour for jogging, relaxing or enjoying the local life. You can rent bikes at a reasonable price at the hotel and easily get to Alexanderplatz or the nice restaurants and shops nearby in Prenzlauerberg or Simon Dach Strasse.The breakfast is delicious and you can also sit outside in the garden. The staff is friendly and provides professional service in the restaurant. It seems that the personnel at the reception are often exchanged and we have experienced different levels of services and attention - from okay to perfect. Rooms are as you would expect from a four star hotel. Internet access is included in the price, which is good; however, the connection is slow and not working efficiently.

Good only for sleeping
The hotel is very fancy and the decoration is very nice. However, it is a little bit hard to get to the city centre and back, as the only option is by one single bus.Also, the internet connection is terrible. 128kbps is absurd and annoying.The room is large and clean, the breakfast is excellent and the staff is friendly to some extent.

Fine service friendly and funny and barman!
Great location just across the park. Nice for a morning run. Good breakfast and large rooms. Easy acces to all in Berlin. Not to much to do just around the place but cheap taxis and or trams does it. During Fairs/messe bus to the messe center.

We went back, it is still brilliant
We said we would go back, and without hesitation we booked again, this time just for one night for a quick weekend trip, but it is still an oasis of calm in a busy city. Room quiet and really comfy, breakfast is gargantuan as before, and we found a quicker route to the Airport using the tram around the corner, knocking 15 mins off the journey. Does it get any better?
