Clean, Good Location and Great Service!
Just arrived back from a short break in Budapest and had a great time. Reception staff were great and very helpful, room was basic but clean and was in a perfect location. We stayed in room 114 which was on the side of the hotel, can imagine it might be a bit noisier if staying in one of the rooms on the front. Room did get quite hot during the night as I don't think the air con gets fully switched on until May. Had to open the windows one night as was struggling to breathe and we soon realised it was better to be too hot than completely deaf from the trams all night! We didn't opt for breakfast as there is so much variety on your doorstep. Would highly recommend if you just want somewhere cheap and cheerful for a few sightseeing days in Budapest!

Close to Nyugati train station
The City Hotel Ring is in an excellent location being very close to the Nyugati train station and near a wide choice of eating places. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed only one night at the hotel but the room was fine and the price was right. We chose not to have breakfast included.The hotel was easy to find and in a fairly busy area. The proximity to the train station was the real bonus for us and we would stay there again for that reason.

Great location, price and service
The hotel is in a fab location, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very good value for money, we had a large room with lots of storage and all the necessary equipment including a fridge I would recommend for a cheap, basic hotel in easy access to shops, leisure and nightlife

Nice place to crash in Budapest
Well located, clean place to crash in Budapest. Extremely helpful staff! Very good buffet breakfast. Pet friendly. Will use again for another trip to Budapest. Can be a bit noisy from the main street but otherwise comfy & good sleep. No wifi in rooms but some have LAN. There is also a computer at the reception free of charge.

Excellent value for money
Stayed for the third time mid-October. Room as clean as ever, staff as helpful as usual and breakfast as predictable as in previous years. If you are on a city visit you have to be prepared for lots of walking and Budapest is no different. However, the location of this hotel is excellent for getting across the Danube, getting to Margaret Island or getting to the shops, bars or restaurants. For the money spent, this hotel is great value
