Ok Holiday Inn.
Huge hotel. Right at Long Beach airport. I stay in many hotels and don't mind walking to restaurants and stores. But for being in a huge city like Long Beach. You are very isolated at this location. Hotel shuttle will take you upon availability. No microwave or fridge. So for us frequent travelers, I think that sucks. If you have your own car. This place is an excellent location.

Bad Experience...
I booked a room late in the evening, paid for my room, then waited outside for a friend to show up. After 90 minutes, they didn't show up so I told the front desk I didn't need the room afterall and asked for a refund. I spent maybe 5 minutes in the room total. The young man said I had to speak to a manager. I called three times and finally spoke with Tiffany today. She said that eventhough I didn't use the room and left shortly after, they cannot refund any or a partial amount back to me. Needless to say, if they were more amicable and understanding, I would be a repeat client and refer my friends and family to the hotel, but they weren't/aren't. They won't be getting any more of my business.

Great Value
I stayed here for one night during a convention at the Queen Mary! Service was great! Rooms are big and they have a sliding glass door and a little balcony. Rooms were clean & comfortable! Great for a short or long stay! I will definitely stay here again!

old and a little noisey
old and noisey, a/c was noisey hiway out the east side is noisey. elevator was broken just about every day. rooms are arranged in a circle fashion, which was probably pretty cool 40 years ago. bed was clean but shower was dated . bonus is there is a restaraunt and room service in the top of the hotel, also a bar up there. and reakfast in the moring( not free).. definately is not my first choice in the area.

DECENT STAY, BUT DOUBT I RETURN !
We were placed in the out building across from the conference building. This is area appears to be some older hotel that Holiday Inn built next to and filled in a pool with cement between the rooms and conference center. I felt at one time this row of rooms must have been an old "motel". My room was 2 old rooms put together allowing for a 1 bedroom and living area. Older decor, a little musty smell but clean........but maybe not, as the room lighting is very poor! This was a park and fly, so the main point was the parking over the hotel. The price was very fair for the package and I felt the car would be pretty safe, and it was. I cannot comment on the main building rooms at all. I saw the pool area and it was decent. Easy and convenient complimentary Long Beach airport shuttle.
