Excellent Hotel! Stayed for our Wedding Night
I live in Orlando, and last month when we got married, I wanted a nice hotel to stay at on our special night. This place is the best hotel in the downtown Orlando area, by far. The service staff was phenomenal. They brought us a microwave so we could heat up our wedding leftovers. They charged my wife's iPhone when she forgot her charger. I called the day before and had them place a bottle of champagne in the room for us on our wedding night. My wife's sisters also called - unbeknownst to me - and had another bottle put in the room, as well as chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!The room was perfect. Spacious, clean and comfy. We walked in to some cheesy music playing on the bed-side BOSE radio. But, it was so cheesy, we loved it! The bathroom was HUGE! And we took advantage of the jacuzzi. The only real problem I had, was that the jacuzzi jets didn't work. We called and they said most of the jacuzzis need to be repaired. So, we just made it a bubble bath instead. Not a huge deal, but still, would have liked to get the full experience.I would definitely stay here again. We didn't pay for it - it was a gift from her sisters to us. So, I may not be able to afford to stay here again for a while. But, that's just the reality for us! It's nice to pretend to have money and live in a luxurious hotel for a night!

Hidden Gem
My friend & I chose this hotel because we were in town to see Rush and it is located just blocks from the Amway Center. We could not have been happier with our decision. It's situated in the heart of Downtown, just blocks from Church Street & some really great bars. I was skeptical at first because I'm really not an "artsy" person, but I was pleasantly surprised. The art really adds a nice touch to an already beautiful establishment. The rooftop pool was small but adequate, although getting sun in the afternoon can be trying due to all the shadows. Our room was very clean & we really enjoyed the jazzy cds provided in the room; made for a cool vibe. This is definitely the place to be if you're in town for an event Downtown.

Stunning Hotel
I stayed here for one night attending my sons graduation from Rollins College. The Hotel is stunning and the art work magnificent. This is a real treat for downtown Orlando. My room was quite large and comfortable but the bathroom basic. The rooftop pool area was very nice and adequate for a downtown hotel. The Executive Lounge Staff were friendly and put out a very decent breakfast. I absolutely loved the bar area and would have enjoyed spending more time listenting to music but my schedule on this trip did not allow for much free time in the hotel. Every staff member I encountered was magnificent. The only con is that the front entrance is actually in the rear of the hotel and difficult to locate. The GPS had it all wrong and downtown Orlando is a maze of one way streets. This is the only con that I could provide. I would stay in this great hotel again in a heartbeat!

Comfy beds, clean rooms, great pool, weird art!
The hotel is beautiful! Rooms are large and very comfy. Bar area has stellar drinks and a cozy piano player at night. Pool area is amazing. I would suggest eating at an outside restaurant if possible. Food is great, but small menu and over priced. Definitely a very classy and elegant hotel. You will see at least 2 half million dollar cars parked outside during your stay!

Back home, to our home away from home...
We had the opportunity to come back to the Grand Bohemian again this year and were greeted/trated as if we had never left. This unique hotel has many positives, but the friendliness, professionalism and attention to the guest as displayed by the staff, are the most compelling reason to return. The property is beautiful with original art displayed throughout, and an inviting lounge/restaurant space. The food is great, the rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect to explore downtown Orlando and Thornton Park. On this trip we enjoyed every minute of our 5 day visit, but we wanted to single out a pleasant evening we spent at the bar during Happy Hour enjoying some pizza, Shrimp Provencal and a wonderful wine recommended by Chelsea. My recommendation, go to the Bosendorfer Lounge for Happy Hour, sit at the bar and introduce yourself to Chelsea - then sit back, unwind and enjoy the experience.
