Avoid it!
Rome is known of having a problem with the accommodation. Many hotels are overpriced and overrated. This one is not the exception of the rule. It, somehow, has three stars. It even has a tripadvisor ¿¿¿recommended in 2011¿¿¿ sticker at the entrance. But, don¿¿¿t be fooled. This is the worst hotel I have been in the last 20 years. The rooms at the ground floor are actually under the ground, so you can¿¿¿t open the (very high) window. There is no sunlight in those rooms because the blinds inside the window are broken and cannot be open. Otherwise, you would see the legs of people passing down the street. The rooms on the higher floors, although bigger, are also not to recommend. Some have mold. All have problem with the street noise (trains, trams, cars). Water pipes are whistling and screaming. Water is going through on the bathroom floor. TV (ask for the remote on the reception) has only few exotic channels (mostly polish and Arab, some Kurd and Iranian).Location of the hotel is also problematic. It is at the end of the Termini region. You must take bus (105) or tram (5,14) 5-6 station to go to the Termini station. So, count on 15-20 minutes more for transportation than if you are really at Termini. Going by foot in the night hours from Termini to hotel is not a great experience, since you have to pass immigrant groups and prostitutes hanging on the corners and skip the homeless sleeping on the street.Breakfast is veeery basic. It ends at 10, but even at 9 they run out of fresh bread, scrambled eggs, cheese, ham etc.I think that this hotel has a problem with the management that wants to drain the money from tourists in the overcrowded Rome without investing some serious money.

Just a place to sleep in..
Spent there 4 nights during a marvelous visit in Rome. Very very simple hotel, the complete minimum of accomodations, breakfast - coffee, juice and croissant. And the worst thing - no towels! There where some kind of sheets, we used as towel..Very low quality hotel, but the location is pretty good, very close to the central metro and rail station, and a walk away from the Colliseium.Very low value for your money - 100 Euros for 1 night!

Won't return to stay there...
First at our arrival at the middle of the night with a group from the airport, some of us weren't on the list (after that we realized that it was because of overbooking) and they needed to argue with the manager to get a room.the location was very bad, not far from the central station. It wasn't nice to go around in the dark... The room it self was O.K, but if you wanted to turn the air conditioning on, you needed to go down and ask it from the reception.not recommended to stay there, it is better to pay some extra euro's and to be in a more nice location.

Don't stay here if you pay a high rate!
Just got back today from a trip around Italy. We stayed in Hotel Centre 3 for three nights checking out today. I have never written a bad review about a place before, or needed to for that matter but I thought I best let others know about this place. Firstly it was the worst hotel I stayed in while in Italy and also the most expensive! I think it was about ¿¿250 B&B between 2 people for 2 nights and that was with discount through a travel service I have. RoomThe room was drab, dark and dismal! The drapes were actually grey even though meant to be white. The tv was from back in the 90s! And you needed to put a deposit down on the remote which was about ¿¿¿20! Didn't bother! The lights in the room were really dim and broke a couple of times. The bathroom (if you can even call it that) was a disgrace! I've stayed in teenage summer camps and shared hostels around Europe with miles better, bigger and cleaner facilities! No excuses! If that was a 3 star hotel I'd hate to see what 2 star is!!! The shower was mouldy and had a sliding door which wouldn't shut properly and the water went all over the floor. The room was about 1.5metres square. It was dark and dirty. I felt more unclean upon using it! StaffThere was one member of staff who was extremely helpful. Spoke a number of languages, gave good advice and was helpful. Everyone else looked like they hated their jobs! We told one man that our electric went off & asked for help. He just ignored us and stayed on his seat doing nothing! We asked the same man the next day about getting to the airport and the advice given was ridiculous! We ended up getting a train (recommended) to near the airport and with it being Easter Sunday the shuttle from the train was very infrequent so we walked about 4 miles. I was actually in tears in pain & thinking we would miss our flight. We just made it! I saw an actual airport transfer bus upon arrival at the airport from the main station to the airport. This wasn't recommended to us! Train or taxi we were told. I'm sure hotel staff should know these things or even look like they care. Transport linksThese were ok due to the great public transport in Rome. Just hop on a met or a bus to the termini station and everywhere can be reached on the busses and underground. This is a positive but down to Romes public transport. BreakfastBreakfast was ok to be honest. Standard continental. The coffee wasn't nice at all from the self serve machine but they did offer a fresh made coffee for free. However I didn't want to ask the member of staff as he looked so fed up. I saw a couple of people ask for things and he just looked so reluctant to help. I mean it can't be the most exiting job but surely a tiny little enthusiasm? WifiWell when in Rome there's no wifi! This hotel offered wifi at a seriously high charge! Not free for customers. Everywhere else we stayed in Italy offered wifi free. Maybe if we had wifi we would have been able to find out about the transfer. This isn't a necessity I know but in the dire hotel conditions for the price we paid this just put the cherry on top for us!The noise!Well we didn't realise this until Friday night but the hotel seems to be built over the top of an underground club! This wasn't open Thursday though. Friday the club was open and the noise went on till the early hours. I was so tired I didn't notice it as much but last night was beyond a joke! The room was vibrating with the noise from the really loud base music below and this went on till 7am when we got up for breakfast and left. In fact I think it was still booming after that! You could even hear people talking and shouting below! I mean I go out till all hours partying, I'm only 25! This was a little extreme though! The club was literally under our room and with being on the ground floor it was worse. I actually can't believe how bad that actually was. I bet there's a lot of very tired unhappy people who stayed last night. All in all it was the worst hotel I've stayed in

Valentine Weekend
Stayed here Wed 13th to Fri 15th for a Valentine week end to Rome, Found the hotel after what seemed like a long trek from the station, kept on popping into other Hotels along the way to ask for directions as we did not realise that it is at the very end of the train tracks, Was pleasantly surprised at how clean and bright the reception area was and the guy on duty proved to be very helpful over the course of the next few days telling us where the nearest metro ( manzoni) was and advising us on a lovely restaurant to eat, also very helpful when our booked trip mini buss was late , phoned up the office for us, The room was fine we did not expect the "Ritz" it was clean the shower and toilet worked, hairdryer in the shower room, bedside lamps, telephone, okay I think that you had to pay for the TV but that is not what we were in Rome for, the breakfast was more than satisfactory, cereal, scrambled egg, cheese, ham, yogurt, cake, bread .butter.jam.selection of hot drinks and cold. felt that it was good value for money, We had a room on the third floor okay the trams were noisy but they did not run all night, Would stay there again.
