Amazing hotel
Arrived in March 2013. There are 2 hotels in 1, Antillas and Barbados. We stayed in Antillas. good hotel, clean, good service, nice staff and great food. Good pool areas and near the beach. The hotel stays in a quite zone of Magalluf.

Not a 4 star hotel
First of all, be carefull that there are two hotels, one Atillas and one Barbados. We didn¿¿¿t know so we could¿¿¿t choose so they checked us in Barbados. The hotel stuff in Barbados is not very nice. At the reception they are mocking people when in need of something. One girl in our group had a broken leg and requested a wheel chair. They gave her a broken chair and then said that they can¿¿¿t repair it or have no one else to call to repair it. So she had to manage without it. But that receptionist attitude was very rude.The room is nice, clean, but the balcony door was old and made some ugly noise when was windy.The breakfast was delicious, worth the money, and the dinner was good but they had the same desert every day, over and over again.The price for WiFI was very expensive, 3 euros for 15 min, 3 euros for 30 min too, 4 euro for 1 hour.No bathroom slippers! The indoor pool is in Atillas, not Barbados and we had to go from one hotel to another . Very loud music from the hotel nearby. Not a 4 star hotel!

A Mix Of Bad And Good
Arrived in August 2012. We had never stayed in Antillas before. So when we arrived we thought the hotel was one big hotel, but actually it was two hotels, which I thought was silly because we could of chose from Antillas or Barbados. The staff told us we were in Barbados. We booked sea view, double bed, and single bed. (2 Adults, 1 Child) When we got in our room it was 2 single beds without so sea view, were would my child sleep? We were furious and made our child upset. We had to wait the next morning for a room at Antillas, there were much more helpful staff in Antillas that Barbados. They got us a perfect, clean sea view room! The breakfasts were perfect too, delicious, worth the money. But sadly the dinners were disgusting, horrible. So that meant we had to walk round Magaluf for restraunts every night. Beach right next to hotel, not bad, but there was lots of litter. Pool, we went there almost every day, was amazing for familys, we enjoyed very very much! We felt a little left out though as everyone spoke a different language,but staff were there for us! Entertainment poor, but made us laugh because it was that bad! They sorted out attractions for us, which was great, wonderful attractions they offered, we enjoyed them. A few attractions near, enjoyed too. The price for WiFI was not free, very expensive, 3 euros an hour! Wish we could have used it in our rooms but sadly we couldn't. On day of leaving they were so kind, even gave us early breakfast! Don't go in Barbados, go in Antillas!

Good family location in Magaluf.
A lukewarm experience during our stay here. No coffee maker in the room!! No bathroom slippers!! The ownership seems to be preoccupied with their Sol Beach House prop next door. I would highly recommend that prop even though the diff is around 100 euros per night. However I cannot take away the kudos that the "old"staff deserves for a valiant effort they are putting in to keep the hotel together. But for those on a budget and with family this is definitely the place to stay in Magaluf.

Outstanding supportive caring friendly staff.........
After my mother was left stranded at the airport when the shuttle bus left without her at Palma airport and being forced to take a 40 euro taxi ride - it was comforting for her to arrive at the Sol Antillas Barbados hotel - where she was welcomed by kind friendly caring staff.I had arranged her holiday - so was pleased when she told me that her room was on the 10th floor which was on the top of the hotel with a beautiful sea view with a balcony that was a bit too frightening to venture out onto ..........My mother was happy with the quality and variety of food provided on the buffet at breakfast and dinner and the caring staff and cleanliness of the hotel throughout her 9 day stay at the hotel....My mother did not venture out to many places and was happy with the clean beach nearby with sunbeds provided free of charge for clients of the hotel that were arranged attractively even though the weather was not always warm and sunny to be able to make the best use of the beach!The only disappointment was being subjected to heavy construction noise on the roof above her room on the10th floor without notice that was frustrating as she could not rest - but after reporting this disturbance twice over 2 hours to the reception - my mother was kindly moved to a suite on the 8th floor for the last 2 days of her stay - which helped it to be a more memorable enjoyable stay than it would have been otherwise....3 members of staff came to help the move to the new room to be as swift and stress free as possible - and my mother was also gifted with a half bottle of champagne and a plate of chocolates that helped her to feel happier.......Upon finding that my mother had left her handbag in the room when going to the shuttle bus on the morning of departure - the night member of staff kindly went to get my mothers handbag so it was done in the quickest possible time - and the shuttle bus did not get too late to go to collect other passengers from neighbouring hotels - which was very much appreciated.....I am very grateful for the care, friendliness and efficiency of the staff at the hotel who made this holiday a more memorable enjoyable and stress free holiday for my mother..... Many thanks!
