This hotel was great, and the service by David C. at the front desk was amazing. He spoke excellent English (I live in CA), gave some great recommendations and really made an effort to help us throughout our stay. I saw some of the 3 star reviews, but you should read them as they don't make sense. Breakfast too expensive (it's 4-5 star; eat around the corner if you don't want a buffet), they tried to sell me a swimming hat, and I didn't have more English tv (welcome to Spain). I was very satisfied (my internet worked great), the location was great and I will stay here again when I come back to Valencia

Great location
We found this hotel nice but not 5 star as expected on positive note the location was excellent and on arrival we had a very friendly informative greeting, wi fi did not work in our room and TV was not in English you could watch news channels only in English... No movies etc... To use pool or spa you must wear a bathing cap you can purchase from hotel extra ¿¿¿5. Breakfast was not worth the cost packet cereal offered but no fresh Muesli or oats, very limited. Room was lovely clean and comfy

Good but not amazing
Overall I thought this hotel was very nice, it rained for the whole of our trip so having a nice hotel room was vital. The room is large and well presented and the hotel itself is very nice and well located. Our major problem with the hotel was the breakfast, it was 20 Euros each which is very expensive for what you get. We didn't find the reception staff to be that friendly or helpful as stated in other reviews, they were nice enough but when we asked about which bus to get to the beach they couldn't really help us. The in-room entertainment was disappointing - usually this would not be an issue but due to the horrible weather it would have been nice to watch a film one afternoon. This was not a service offered at this hotel and for a four star hotel it was disappointing. The spa was nice and reasonably priced for hotel guests 12.50 Euros.

A colonial feel in the heart of Valencia
A nice, grand hotel in the heart of Valencia, very well situated near to the main attractions and parks. It is also close to all the transport systems. The food and services are very good, the staff are friendly and speak English fluently. The rooms were spacious and the facilities in the room were good. We enjoyed the breakfasts downstairs in the breakfast room and the dinner on the open rooftop restaurant was also very pleasant. Its a very big and Grand old hotel, it also has a gym and swimming pool.

Fabulous
Great rooms, clean, fantastic value. We had not pre booked but loved the location on our way to the south of France I always get uptight about parking in a city but the keys were taken and car parked. As always, the Spanish know how to run a top quality hotel. Muchos Gracias.
