Unexpectedly fabulous
Was very nervous when we were dropped off by the taxi driver in the middle of the road as too awkward for him to stop elsewhere! Graffiti adorns the walls of Rome and coupled with crazy taxi I welcomed the utopia that the Roma euro stars had to offer. We arrived very early but was able to check in straight away. Rooms were of very good standard, staff very helpful, food great and we were directed to little street behind hotel which we frequented throughout our stay which had market stalls lovely little bars and restaurants right in the heart of local life. Everyone was friendly and service excellent. Great connections for public transport for coliseum etc, just jump on no 81 bus right outside the hotel. Lovely stay will definitely go again.

Nice hotel terribly unfortunate location
Myself and girlfriend stayed here for 3 days and were overall satisfied with the hotel. The rooms were clean and the jacuzzi bath is a great touch. The staff are very friendly but have a more laid back reaction to requests. The view from the window was a grassy plane in the hotels grounds and other flats. Though a street view would probliy not have been most pleasent. The area unfortunately lets down the hotel which is a shame. There's graffiti clad walls and quite a few shall we say characters roaming day and night. To get into the city take the 81 bus which goes passed the colosium and eventuality to the Vatican. The fare was quite cheap but the buses were very over crowded with people, most being quite deliriously ill mannered.Beware of taxi firms taking advantage when requiring a cab most have a fixed rate of 30 euro from either Rome airport. Unknowing leaving ciampino airport our taxi cost 55 euro then the correct 30 on the way back. I would recommend seeing the colosium and an open top bus you can hop on and off for a day or more. This helps you get your bearings and decide where you'd like to explore. We found romes beautiful shopping district and Hard Rock Cafe both didn't disappoint.So to some up if you don't mind the 15-20 minute bus ride into Rome and the aforementioned then choose this hotel for a nice place to rest your head.

Nice Facility, but not in the city center
You have to rent a car, get a taxi, or hop a bus to get around. Although there are a few good restaurants in the area, you'd be better off closer to a metro station.The beds were too small as well, but the property was very clean.

Perfect Choise
I have to say we were in Rome in March during the pope's incarnation and it was impossible to think of a location in the heart of the city so we decided to go for this hotel and indeed it was a perfect choise. Although it's true it's a bit far off, we found no problem going in and out of town via the bus across the street. It might take about 45 min to one hour getting to Rome so you might have to start your day earlier however later on we came to a certanity that Eurostars was indeed the best choise for us since we re not the kind to go for small hotels, sometimes appartments that tend to lack the proper managment, cleanliness or any other proper hotel measures and Rome are filled with those in the more better locations. Our room was spacious, clean sharp, great bathroom and modern furnishing. Around the area of the hotel was really amusing as well, a back alley has different small shops where locals go to, cafes and a great pizza house right across the corner.The last but not least about our trip is that we actually forgot our wedding rings there believe it or not and after calling the manager Fran one day after we checked out, he soon called us back to say his team has actually found the rings and we await their safe return. This we have to admit was the ultimate gesture of credability and trust from this hotel managment and if we ever visit Rome again, we will look no further

Nice hotel; dangerous area
We actually booked the Eurostars on Via Nationale, but an error resulted in us being put at this one. We thought we'd make the best of it, since we figured that it wasn't too far away, and the rooms here were actually much nicer. The staff was generally quite friendly, and the rooms were excellent. Everything was nice and clean, and we had a nice balcony overlooking a small courtyard.I had read other reviews about this area being far and a bit rough, but thought that taking a bus into town wouldn't be so bad. We had no problems taking the bus (although it is pretty sketchy), but upon our departure were mugged as soon as we crossed the street to take the bus (on our way to the airport with all of our bags); it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We were still traveling for two weeks and this put a damper on the afternoon for sure. I liked the hotel itself, but would not stay here again due to this area.If you are willing to take taxis for each journey (especially to and from the airport - I think it's 50 Euro each way), this is a good hotel for you. Otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it.
