Fantastic location
Stayed over a bank holiday weekend, but the hotel didn't feel too busy and the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good. Room was small but nicely put together, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel though is the location....only a five minute walk to most of Bath's attractions, multistorey car park just next door, lots of lovely restaurants and bars within a very easy walking distance, and easy to find as you take the road into the it's centre. Loses one mark out of five because it really isn't a very attractive building and it was all a bit generic-Hilton, and the doors weren't very well sound proofed so people passing by were a disturbance, but other than that, a very nice hotel.

It was ok. We booked a Queen Deluxe room. To be honest - you couldn't swing a cat in it. The description on the website said that you get a seperate walk in shower and an easy chair in the bedroom. There wasn't either of these things in our room... the bed took up all but about 3 feet of the room.. It was comfy, and considering we were on the front opposite a pub on 1st floor - it was pretty quiet... The restaurant was tasty on the Friday night, although maybe a bit overpriced... breakfast was pretty standard.All in all it was a "nice" hotel. Location made up for the shortfalls in the room space. I did check with reception to make sure we were booked into the correct room type. (126 - incidentally). Apparently its a queen deluxe. I'm still not convinced that it is... Maybe its wrong on the system? Maybe it's just a rubbish example of that room type...

Well located, nice room and breakfast.
Just by the city centre, simple but with certain luxury. Better if chosen rooms facing river behind hotel. Very good breakfast, almost somewhat slow in service. Fair value for money after all. Not so many facilities, just the basics but not jeopardize experience to enjoy the city.

Very good hotel in Bath (if you prefer hotels over b&bs), great location and staff
Great stay and service. George and Laura at the front desk were excellent as well as the restaurant staff and servers for breakfast. Great location and very central to Bath. Would highly recommend staying here if you are more comfortable in hotels than b&bs. The breakfast was very good (surprised by the comment on breakfast as not up to Hilton standards as we thought breakfast buffet was full of choices.) . Will stay again and really enjoyed the hotel. BTW, I am a hhonors gold member and am reviewing this not against other Hiltons but rather for what is available in the Bath area (I think it would be unfair to compare to major city Hiltons).

Over-priced but great location
We stayed here for 2 nights In Apr 13 whilst in Bath for a 40th and decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel. We stayed in a compact room at almost ¿¿230 per night, including breakfast. We knew that the price mainly reflected the great central location of the hotel but although the hotel was perfectly clean and pleasant it was quite underwhelming for that price. The decor, especially in the public areas, also seemed slightly tired.The room itself was nice and the bed was super comfy with a lovely view from the window. Also the breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of choice and good service. However, considering the breakfast costs ¿¿18 this is to be expected. Parking is available in the public carpark underneath the hotel but costs ¿¿15 per night for hotel guests. It was also disappointing that the hotel charges for guests to use wifi in their room. The only place which provides free limited wifi is the Costa Coffee near the reception.
