great hotel with good views of victoria bay
This hotel is located in old part of Hong Kong island, but close enough in a taxi ride. public transportation is limited. The hotel is almost new, great rooms and views from our room. the staff very friendly and attentive to all the needs.i would recommend the hotel to people looking to relax from the hustle and bustle at night. other hotels have better views from Kowloon.

Hongkong visit
This stay marked the 5th time and the service continues to excel. We had an Executive Suite and it was spacious with a large bedroom, bathroom and separate living room and den. Bathroom was huge with shower and separate large bath that was open to bedroom....not for the bashful. Great views across the harbor to Kowloon. The Staff? wonderful as usual - from the Executive Lounge team to the breakfast team at Momo to the front desk staff (thanks for the late check-out). Thanks again for helping to create more great memories! Getting around we had no trouble as there are shuttles and taxis (cheap) in abundance and all at convenient times and availability. It is about 24 minutes walk from the end of the Island Line MTR, but it is a nice walk if you choose to explore authentic side of Central. Never disappointed at this property and will no doubt visit again shortly. Only thing missing of course is no swimming pool, but not a big deal in the scheme of things. Highly recommended to anyone visiting a great city of Hongkong. We are looking forward to the next trip to Hongkong and Marriott.

Awesome hotel but a bit far from MTR
As a gold member of Marriott i stayed at this hotel. The hotel is located Sheung Wan which is essentially the area where you buy dried stuff. As a gold member of Marriott you will be able to enjoy the executive lounge. The gym is very nice and is good enough for any work out fiend. The hotel has two places where you can enjoy breakfast. There is the restaurant and then executive lounge. I would recommend the restaurant as it is free for gold members. There is alot more variety and definitely better than spending lots of money eating outside. The service was great and the front desk folks all spoke English well. The previous hotel i stayed at and most other hotels their English was not great and could not really conversant with them. Even though i am fluent in their language sometimes the language barrier can hurt the business. The rooms were really nice. I was given a hotel was an awesome harbor view. The bathrooms are spacious and the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone. They also have a shuttle service that will bring you to certain areas. The hotel was very clean and also Ding Ding (Tram) is right outside which brings you around Hong Kong island for $2.30 (HKG) you get great views though if you are in a rush i would not recommend taking that. There is also a airport bus A11, A12 that brings you right into the airport. The harbor is definitely something great to wake up to.

Great Hotel, Poor Location
The hotel staff was respectful and courteous. The rooms were spacious and well furnished in comparison as rooms in Hong Kong are generally small usually in comparison. Try to ask for a view that faces the river. It makes the stay there so much more worthwhile. Location wise, I booked the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong even after reading all the reviews on its terrible location. My consolation to myself was that it would be peaceful, quiet, and taxis in Hong Kong are generally abundant and affordable. However when you are in Hong Kong, you eat and shop till you drop and the last thing you want to do at the end of the day is to stand in the cold to flag a taxi. (I went in the winter). It would also be nice to be able to pop down to pick up some nice street snacks, but on the bright side, it was cheaper than staying in the central.Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this hotel.

Another Great Stay!
