PlusVery nice hotel in a very calm a quiete place, still only 20-25 minutes walk to city and 100 meters to the metrostation Bajza Utca. Only 200 meters to Heroe Square and the Scheszney Furdu (the biggest public spa). Its quite like a boutiq hotel, warm and friendly atmosphere, nice decore (old charm decore). The place i very good if you prefer to have peace and quite and still be able to be in the middle in a copule of minutes. Great fpr families. Yoy have in a range of 300 meters a big park. Here you find a lot of playgrounds for kids, a huge pound, a beautyful Zoo and of course the biggest Spa i Budapest. Beacuse the Hotel is not in the Citycenter you have great parking for 1750 forint a days just outside the hotel. The WIFI is free and quite fast - so i could work we no hassle.MinusIt was not much that i didnt like. Almost everthing was good or perfect. But here is some thing.I dont know what the hotels get the stars from but there is no pool and no gym at this hotel. You can get a voucher from the hotel to there sisterhotel 300 meters away if you like to work out in the morning but this is quite a hassle. When you wake up you want to just put on you sneakers and get to the gym. Not put on some clothes and go to a other place and then change again. The gym should be at the hotel - just only what i think.Another thing is the cleaning staff. They are far away from a 5 or even 4,3 star standard. The managment should check their job a little bit more. This kind of towels you shouldnt get in a hotel, not even if its a 2 star. Look at the pictures yourself.

From the moment we arrived , the service from all the people in the hotel was tremendous - nothing was too much trouble and helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities were great. The room was spacious and airy, with a good balcony. The rooms are modern and well air-conditioned (the weather was hot - so this was a must). The location is near to a very easy to use metro for downtown Pest and within esay walking distance of Hero's Square and all the attractions around there. Will certainly go back to this hotel - it deserves all the accolades it has received.

An amazing hotel that fully deserves the highest rating. Friendly & smiling staff, check-in/check-out went smoothly and quickly. Art deco building, clean room and comfortable bed, the true upscale hotel. The room felt a bit warm so we kept the AC running first night and second night we kept the window open. Located on the historic Andrassy street, close to Hero Square (two major galleries, park & szechenyi thermal spa), but off the noisy downtown. A pleasant 15 minutes walk on the tree lined boulevard to the Oktogon - Opera neighborhood with a number of cafes, bars and restaurants or a short ride by metro to the downtown. We spent one late evening at the balcony (accessed trough the bathroom?!) with a bottle of Hungarian red wine :). The breakfast was expensive and we wanted to go out to the city so we opted for breakfast in some of Budapest numerous cafes. Tip: Definitely, ask for the room with a balcony.

Great for business and for pleasure. Extremely high level of customer service (I got sick and my room was easily extended). The rooms are extremely modern and better than most of the other business hotels in Budapest. And lastly very good value.Paul
