Good central location
Good location within a few minutes walk from the Markt. We had a large front room (with a balcony) with a separate dressing area, bathroom and toilet. The bed was comfortable. There was no kettle or drink making facility in the room but a simple request to Reception resulted in a kettle, cups and tea and coffee that was enough for our stayThe breakfast was good with a cooked alternative to the usual Continental breakfast. The food was replenished several times to ensure that it was fresh and, for the cooked food, hot.If there is a minus point it is that the hotel can be noisy. The front rooms look out onto a narrow road that is not busy but the noise of the traffic that does use the road is funnelled up between the buildings and the cobbled roads do not cushion any of the noise.

Ideal
Spent two nights at this hotel and found it ideally located, the room was clean and confortable and the staff were very helpful. We didnt use our breakfast vouchers so can't comment on the quality of the food but based on everything else, including the hotel Parrot Coco out the front, I would recommend this hotel to other travellers to the beautiful city of Brugge.

The location is good, very close to center, and about 8 euro away in taxi from the railway station, but the services not so much. I did not like the internet access (very slow and you have to reconnect to different access points all over hotel), the breakfast was quite poor in diversity. The room had a very strange floor plan, with the wc in one room and the rest in other, so if you go to the bathroom and want to wash your hands after, you have to touch at least 2 handles (room 106). I hate the fixed rain shower type (see photo) especially when the pressure is not so good. We had also a strange discussion with the management, when we were entered in the room even though we had the "do not disturb sign" on, because the cleaning stuff and the management thinks that maybe we forgot to take it of, and is better for them to clean. WTF?! The walls are not very sound proof, but I have seen worst. Another point that really turned me off was the window frames. They were very bad, very difficult to close and even broken (1st floor hallway). The access stairs to the first floor were not standard, probably only 15 cm width making it very difficult to step. My room had a small shared terrace to a patio, which was not cleaned of cigarettes.I think that they should do more and listen more to their customers, especially for such a touristic place.

Weekend visit
Lovely hotel in a very convenient location, only yards from the Markt.Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.Went for the superior room which was large and well furnished.Note that tea and coffee tray not in the the room but just ask and it comes right up free of charge.

Nice Place to Stay just off Main Square
Recommended by a friend this hotel was nice quiet, clean , friendly staff, and would recommend it note has car parking facilities which is handy for central Bruge, handy for most things bit off trek to Railway station
