Situated about a 5 min walk from Grand Place and Central Station this hotel is in a perfect spot. The walk to Grand Place takes you through the Galleries which are well worth the walk through.We stayed here at the start of May and were very impressed at the price compared to other hotels in this area.We arrived early in the morning and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - storing our luggage, giving us a quick run through of what our stay would include and also giving us some good tips on how we could spend our day until the room was ready.The rooms are well laid out, quiet (we were in room 521) and the bed is very comfortable. The amenities in the bathroom are very nice and all sustainable. The tea and coffee tray was a bit lacking in coffee (only one sachet) but a quick call to reception sorted this out with no hassle.The room has a safe which is free to use, a desk and chair, a fair amount of cupboard/shelf space, tea/coffee/kettle and a TV (we had BBC1&2, Sky News, BBC News, CNN & CNBC as english speaking channels)The service was excellent. We asked for extra pillows once we got to the room and there was a chap at our door within 2 mins with them. Also we got more coffee and any questions we had were given the full attention of the reception staff. Really couldn't have asked for more.Breakfast was included in the price and was well worth it. You have a choice of cereal, continental and cooked (and yes you can have a mix of all three) and as its self-service you can eat as much as you like.The only issue we had with our stay is that the shower floor is very small and with it having a shower curtain it sticks to you as you move around. A few things also got knocked over due to this. Also there is a frosted glass panel which sits in line with the toilet pan. Never quite got the reason for this and although you modesty is protected your silhouette is visible.If we ever go back to Brussels this would be our 1st choice and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area of Brussels.

Me and my wife stayed at the NH Areberg hotel in April. What a deal. Hotel was near the central station and main attractions in Brussels. After an all night flight we checked in around 10am and they had a room for us. No problem. The room was clean. Spacious bathroom for europe. Beds were comfy. Situated on a quiet street . Which was great! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Wide selection of cheeses, breads, fruit, eggs, waffles, juices, danishes, etc... Wifi was free ,but had to update it every 24hrs with a new code. Staff very nice. No complaints. I would definetly stay at this hotel again. One of the best I stayed at. Conviently located by the main train station (5 min walk). Grand place 7 min walk. The galleries (3-4 min walk). I highly recommend this hotel. Brussels is a wonderful place to visit and this is a great place to stay while here in Brussels.

We have just come back from two nights at the NH Hotel Arenberg and were very pleased with this hotel.It is within easy reach of two metro stations and although it is close to the Grand Place and sights in central Brussels, on a street that is quiet at night. We had a room on the 4th floor towards the back of the building. If you rate exciting views very highly, you could ask for a room out towards the front, so you don't "just" see the backs of several buildings. It certainly did not bother us!The room had a large comfortable double bed, good lights and a minibar stocked with several non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Our booking included this initial supply for free, the hotel just does not restock for the second night of the stay - very good concept as it helps when you arrive thirsty and want a refreshment rather than hunting down the nearest corner shop!The bathroom design takes a bit to get used to: it has a frosted glass window towards the bedroom which provides some natural light during daytime. However it also means that if one of you gets up for the bathroom in the night, the bedroom will be lit through the glass panel. The bathroom door can be swung from its normal closing position into an alternative position to close the corridor/wardrobe area off from the bedroom part and open it to bathroom. It only really matters if you come out from the bath and want to get dressed without the other person in the room watching you. Certainly a unique feature! The toilet is fairly close to the bathroom wall on one side, so watch out a bit or you might bang your elbow on the wall. Adjustable shower head in the bathtub/shower, good water pressure.Breakfast had hot and cold items and was available until late in the morning, always a plus on weekends: I particularly liked their scrambled eggs, very decent coffee from the machine, several tasty fruit juices. There is a range of cold meat and cheese available, also tomatos and cucumbers.Check-in and check-out were both efficient and friendly without any wait, luggage storage worked great for our departure day when we wanted to do several hours of sightseeing before heading home.On checkout we were given a discount voucher code which can be used for another stay at one their NH hotels during this summer. Might very well take advantage of it!

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in Europe and one of the most reasonable too! Really nice modern rooms and bathrooms, great location, clean! Fast Internet in the lobby too. I don't remember a breakfast being included but there is so much yummy food (hello waffles) just steps away that didn't really feel necessary. Highly recommend this place. We stayed spring 2011 but I was not allowed to choose a date that far back.

This is a pleasant, friendly and clean hotel. The breakfast was excellent with both continental and cooked options. The rooms are functional but well looked after and the bed was large and comfortable. My only complaint would be that our shower was very small and had a shower curtain, which I think is unacceptable in a modern 4 star hotel. That said, the location is excellent.
