Sheraton Four Points at LAXI stayed at this hotel for one night, May 12, 2013. I was in town for my sister¿¿¿s wedding and wanted to be close to the airport for my return flight Monday morning.FRONT DESK: When I arrived for check-in, it was late at night. The reservation was pre-paid so it was an easy check-in process. The reservation was in my husband¿¿¿s name. When we left the front desk, my husband decided to return our car to the Hertz rental place so I could go up to the room and get ready for bed. However, I forgot the room number. When I re-approached the front desk to request the room number, the clerk almost wouldn¿¿¿t give me the information because my name wasn¿¿¿t on the reservation and my husband didn¿¿¿t sign me in as a guest. Finally, after I showed them my ID and credit card which he used for check-in, they gave me the room number. I appreciate the security, but I was also kind of annoyed since I had JUST been at the front desk while we checked in and I was tired from being busy all weekend with my sister¿¿¿s wedding. ROOM: The room was kind of confusing to find. After getting off of the elevator, a sign designated room directions with arrows. Our room number arrow pointed toward an Exit door, which at first glance appeared to be the stair well emergency exit, and it didn¿¿¿t seem as though there was another hallway attached to it ¿¿¿ however, there was, and our room was down that hallway. Once the initial confusion was overcome, we found the room quite easily. The room was big ¿¿¿ we had a double queen room, which fit four people just fine. The beds were comfortable and I slept fairly well but I prefer more firm pillows than the standard issue soft down pillows, but I made do with doubling up. Closet space was very limited, but since we were just staying one night for airport convenience, we had no need to use the drawers or hang up anything in the closet. There was free wifi, which was a plus, especially for my father-in-law, who¿¿¿s obsessed with his Ipad. I loved the lighting in the bathroom sink vanity area ¿¿¿ perfect for makeup and doing my hair. The tub/shower/toilet area could have been bigger, it felt slightly cramped in the small area. There was an outdoor pool and fitness room, but I didn't use either of these amenities due to my short stay.FOOD: We dined at the hotel restaurant in the morning for the breakfast buffet. It was kind of pricey, but I reminded myself that I was in a Sheraton and in LA, so it all made sense. The food was good, a common selection of breakfast buffet items. Good food, no complaints.TRANSPORTATION: The hotel offered a free shuttle to the airport, which we utilized. It arrived timely, I think every 15-30 minutes, and the driver worked his butt off to bustle the luggage on/off for each passenger.CONCLUSION: I¿¿¿d definitely return to this hotel. It was super convenient to be close to LAX airport. The rooms were clean and modern. The free wifi was an added benefit. Definitely consider this hotel when traveling to the LA airport area.

The rooms on the 5th floor where I stayed are nicely updated and very clean. The outdoor pool was heated and was comfortable even on a cool day. There are towels at the pool and the pool bar has a nice selection of micro brewed beers. The airport noise was muted but you can hear it starting about 6am if you are a light sleeper like me. The shuttle service does a continuous loop so all you do is wait for it. We were there for about 10 minutes but your luck may be different. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. This is a basic hotel but it seems to be run very well.

We arrived late Thursday night at Los Angeles Airport and had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the shuttle. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean--very basic and simple. Easy check-in. Good stay for the price. We'd stay here again if we needed to come back to the area.

Basic hotel to stay. If you need some place to stay rather than airport. Very fast check in and out. Rooms are nice size with free wifi Internet access at the rooms.Breakfast is basic.There is not much dinner choice around.

We spend one night in this hotel to get a good nights sleep before making the long tirp home. The beds were very comfortible and the rooms were big. Price was right for this hotel. Room service was handy and the staff was friendly!
