Another great stay
I have just returned from my 3rd visit at the Hilton Barcelona. I really like this hotel--the location is great and within walking distance of Eixample, but also about a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport or the congress center. If you don't want to walk, a taxi to the center is about ¿¿¿ 7, and the hop-on/hop-off tour bus is 3 minutes away. Also, there are quite a few nice shopping areas in the neighborhood and other good restaurants within walking distance.The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and clean; beds are very comfortable, and the amenities in the bathroom of very good quality. This is what you expect in a hotel, of course, but what sets this apart is the professional and friendly people who work here--from the front desk to the bar, where the drinks and tapas are both excellent. In good weather, the terrace in front of the hotel is very pleasant. Everyone you encounter seems interested in making sure you are having an enjoyable stay. Breakfast is outstanding, but the Sunday brunch is even better. I'm not a fan of buffets, but this one is an exception--everything is fresh and delicious. For business travellers, this is a great choice--the executive lounge is has computers, printers, wifi, etc. I would recommend this hotel without any reservations at all.

Excellent Hotel and Courteous Staff
I travel frequently and love this hotel and location. Very close to L3 line, that takes you to Ramblas, Plaza Espana. Also close to shopping and The Corte Ingles.The hotel is beautiful, great rooms with comfortable beds and great pillows. Love their Thomas Peter Roth toiletries.The rooms are impecably clean.The staff is friendly and courteous, taking the time to help you with directions and even offering and umbrella when rain is expected.The manager is always available and always manages to take the time to greet new guest.Truly impressed with this Hotel.

High marks for this hotel
Barcelona was the highlight for me on this Euro tour, and this hotel played a key role in making that happen. As per usual with Hilton brand hotels in Europe, I found the service and quality to be exceptional. Room was clean and comfy. The VIP lounge was well stocked and the service was very friendly. I particularly appreciated the help I received from Miriam at the front desk, who assisted me from start to finish with solving some frustration I was having over booking tickets. My only criticism would be better aimed at Hilton in general as I found everything on site to be perfect. The location of this Hilton, as with many in Europe, was a bit far from the tourist sites and nightlife. I was fine walking or taking a cab, and public transportation seems pretty straightforward and frequent, but that could be a deterrent for some.

Excelent Hotel with very helpful staff
We stayed in a group of 13 people at the Hilton Barcelona to watch the UEFA Champion¿¿s League Semi-Final match between Bar¿¿a x Bayern Munich. Hotel was great, great rooms and location--we walked back and forth from Camp Nou. The hotel manager Maria Sorolla was particularly helpful with tickets to the game. Will definitely stay there again.

nice hotel ,but.......
This is a very nice hotel which is close to Metro and public busses and tram are right in front with easy access to the city. We purchased a Barcelona Pass at the I in the train station that gave us 3 days of very inexpensive city travel. The room was very small but comfortable. The only problem was that you seemed to be rushed by the staff and it did not have that usual friendly feeling you get at other Hiltons(we stayed at 4 in a 7 city visit). Food and drinks were expensive and paying a high price for the internet and the hassle with the electronic counter in the fridge charging you for items you did not use is troubling-all in all I would stay again.
