The hotel is very well situated at a 10 minute walk from the historical center. There are also tram and metro station near the hotel. The room are very poor, toilet is not clean, there is dust in the room. When i was staying in the room it was cold. Breakfast is very basic, not to much to chose from. I would not stay again in this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and it was badly cold (no opportunity to add some heat to central heating). The room service is very poor (they even do not wash the floors properly - I saw dust and stands on it). The roomfacilities are obviously old and used. Staff on the reception is not very helpful. They even do not lock the luggage room!! The breakfasts were ok, but similar every day. Anyway for such price power room it is possible to survive for a week. 2 min walk to metro and train station. Supermarket Albert (rather cheap) near the corner (5 min walk)

Wow that was totally unexpected! The room was simply beautiful and spacious. Hotel is only about a 5 min walk to pedustrian area so we walked there daily.The breakfast is the same fare daily but at least there are choices. The staff are the friendliest I have come across and speak great English!¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ 2.i liked this Hotel, the staff were lovely, helpful and attentive. The food and wine was first class and the rooms were very comfortable. The bed - i loved and slept really. The only area that i was dissapointed in - was that i did not have a robe in my room and would have had to pay if i really wanted one. i would stay here again.¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ 3. The staff were always helpful and friendly. This continue during our six nights stay. I stayed at this hotel for a week with my grandmother.we enjoyed every moment.when we came on the first day we were given one of the largest room, with balcony and clean bed.it is true you feel very independent, but for this price and place I could "suffer" it (5 minutes from Florence. 2 minutes from the nearest metro station; 0.30 minutes from the tram. station.)Beautiful city I suggest warmly.

I sweated all night (no AC) and couldn't get the window open. This is a very big hotel with the "you're on your own" feeling to it. Kinda run down. The location was pretty cool - we walked to a park and the kids had a great time. There is an ice cream shop across the street - also a big deal for the kids. Not bad, but not great. Just an average hotel in an AMAZING city!Go to the John Lennon wall across the Charles Bridge and get some pics. Pass on the ghost tours.
