Amazing Front Desk
My husband and I spent one night in Brussels. This hotel is close to the Tran and a small supermarket. The front desk was amazing. You can only use the Wifi in the reception area though. Clean normal rooms and comfortable bed. The best bed I slept during my whole vacation in Europe. I slept like a baby.lol.. Will stay again.

Good value and location
We popped into Brussels for just a day, and selected the hotel based upon the location as it was a kilometre from our appointment the following day.We arrived late to the hotel, thanks to EasyJet, but the staff was very welcoming and we were in our room very quickly.The room was clean, spacious, and overlooking the garden, which is very helpful as it minimises the noise level. Overall, we thought the room was totally adequate for our needs, and had more room than is usual in Europe for the inexpensive rates.We went down to the bar/restaurant to try to get something to eat. However, we found the restaurant was closed. We were able to obtain a glass of wine before the bar closed, and the bartender suggested we get a sandwich from reception, which we did.During the night, it was a bit loud in the room due to a helicopter...we are not certain what was going on, but this could hardly be blamed on the hotel.Checkout was easy, and we left our bag for the day. Again, the staff was very helpful and nice. I had accidentally purchased the high cost internet service, instead of the free internet, and they removed this from our bill without question. A note on getting to the hotel from the airport by public transportation. We took another reviewer's suggestion to take the train to Midi, and then the tram 81 to the hotel (tram stop Bailli at Avenue Louise). Just some additional information...after 8 pm you must take the tram 83. In both cases, you head in the direction "montgomery". In the dark, it is incredibly difficult to read the names on the tram stops, and these are not announced on the tram. We used the google maps app to track our location and inform us on when to get off the tram. For the return trip, we were able to buy one jump tram tickets in the hotel, as you cannot buy them at the tram stops other than at the main stations.So...the pluses: the value for money was very good. The price of the hotel was extremely low for a european city destination. The staff was excellent, and made us feel welcome. The room, as mentioned, was good especially considering the cost. The location for us was perfect.Negatives: It was somewhat noisy in the room. We were not able to really relax when we arrived in the lobby bar, as it closed shortly after we arrived.

Nothing to write home about
The very warm welcome and the amazing flexibility with which they have shuffled the rooms for me were a promising start to my stay. And that's it.Boring room, not very well kept - I am sure they did vacuum clean, but they certainly did not spend a lot of time or focus on it, and when I tried to motivate them with a tip it got even worse. I do not want to write about the bar's bathroom, which one might consider visiting before leaving to the airport after a day in the city. Some train stations have cleaner ones. Fortunately the price of the room was very reasonable and again: the clercs are superb.

Amazing Again!
I stayed here for 3 night in April with my husband. I previously stayed in June 2012 and I loved it and it did not let me down!The staff are freindly, the rooms were clean and it is only 10 mins on the tram to the center. I recommend this hotel to anybody, very good value for money.
