Good location but a few things could be improved
Stayed here in May 2013 for 4 nights. The location is good, 5 mins walk to Sants Station and from here you can get anywhere in Barcelona. There is very little around the hotel though so if you want a meal out or a few drinks you have to either use the hotel bar/restaurant or get on the metro.Rooms are fairly basic but clean and beds are very comfortable. A few negatives, the breakfast is not worth 10 euros and there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Service at reception and the bar can be very slow, our safe did not work and still wasn't fixed by the time we left, the receptionist did say that we could leave valuables in their safe but we just ended up carrying everything around with us. Whilst we were there there was a wedding on the floor below us and the noise travelled to our room by the stairwell. Problem was easily resolved by closing the doors to the stairs but it would have been nice if the staff had anticipated this and done it themselves. Overall if you don't mind a 10 minute journey into the centre the hotel is fine, definitely 3 star rather than 4 though.

I just can recommand that place!
We had a great time at H10itaca! The breakfast was kind of unorganized and the coffee machine did not work all the time but the food was good.The staff at that place is very friendly and helpful. There is free wifi too.I have mixed feelings about the location. The hotel iw very close to the train station Barcelona Sants but there is no bars around the hotel so you have to take the metro to go somewhere.To sum it up, I think I would go back to that hotel even though it is kind of far from the central points.

Nice
"Design" hotel with a lovely lobby and outside terrace area. Room was quite nice, comfortable and modern, but not much of a view. Very handy location for the main train station but a bit far from the historical centre (i.e. you need to take the underground for sightseeing and dining).

Surprising
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly - they welcomed visitors with a warm smile.Rooms were okay but would have benefited from some hotel information in the room. Breakfast was good value and there was a good choice. The Sant Station is about a 5 mins walk away which is ideal if you want to join the hop on/hop off buses. The gym isn't anything to write home about - the exercise bikes could do with being replaced as they are worn.

Great bang for your buck.
Hip hotel with a great back patio for drinks or quick bit with friends and family. Breakfast was a good value and a lot of choices. Rooms are a bit small, however that is quite common in Europe and these were general on the large size for the area. Just a quick walk from Saints Train Station which a train comes from the airport. If you can travel light great way to get to the city fromn Airport. A easy walk from Las Ramblas (a few miles). Comp sparkling wine every day! Nice touch. Staff was great. Most importantly the price is right!!
