Comfortable, clean, ideally located
Not a four star hotel by UK standards, more like 3 star, however the hotel was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and it is ideally located for the city centre opposite Hauptbahnhoff (central station). The breakfast was good with plenty choice of tea, coffee, fruit juices, bacon, sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs, cereals, pain au chocolate, croissants, toast, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, salad, cold meats etc, etc, etc.Lifts are small, maximum 5 people at a push with no luggage, with luggage could fit two. We were able to check in around 11am. No noise at night if the windows are closed. No air conditioning, however, this was not a problem when we visited although I imagine it could be hot in the summer.Would stay here again. Room 421.

Terrible internet, dirty rooms and staff who doesn¿¿t even care
The building is old, which I actually would love, if they¿¿d only clean the rooms once in a while.I¿¿ve been looking at the same dirt on my desk for the last 7 days, the only thing they seem to do daily are beds.Even if they offer Wi-Fi, you better forget about this, the quality is extremely poor, connects and disconnects all the time, and the speed is horrible.But the worst thing is the ¿¿¿I don¿¿t even care¿¿¿ attitude from staff: last Tuesday, one of my friends left a gift for me at the reception. Staff never told me the same was there waiting for me, they also never brought the package up to my room. Days later, as my friend asked me about that, I went down to the reception and asked about. They simply told me ¿¿¿oh, yes, we have something for you¿¿¿¿¿¿.As I asked how it is possible that nobody calls me or bring it to my room, answer was ¿¿¿I couldn¿¿t say, I¿¿m was not on duty at the time of arrival¿¿¿.Very disappointing stay.

Good three stars
Well located, you can save on taxi by pulling your suitcases for 100 meters from a train station.Friendly and helpful staff, big lobby. I had a double room with breakfast for 99 euros, which I felt was slightly too much for this hotel at this time of the year. I wish there was carpeting, not laminate on the floor. I wish the bathroom was better decorated and felt warmer. Change the outdated TV set and put more light in the room, please. Not great, but quite OK for this location. I will try another one for a change next time.

Well located hotel with comfortable room
The location is next to the railway station, large room, comfortable bed, large bathroom, reliable wifi in rooms, quiet, ample storage space, clean and lots of power outlets. I found the room to be dark during the night with all the lights on, the lifts are tiny (got maximum of four people) and the internet access is somewhat restrictioned as you need to get a log on code every 24 hours.

Poor and dirty! Avoid it!
Although it is located in a good place, about 10 minutes walking to Marienplatz and also have god and spacious rooms, we found dirty towels and poor housekeeping.The elevators are really old and I had my doubts about the overall maintenance condition. I would recommend to avoid this hotel unless you have no choice.
