Came here for a much needed break for 4 nights and were not disappointed. Yes its called Marina hotel as thats the area it is in - It may not be on top of the Marina but its only a 7 minute walk outside. The hotel was great with lovely service and a breakfast where you can eat like a king to set you up for the day. The roof top pool is small but a lovely little hide away - sure it would be way too busy in the high summer months though - Real shame it closes at 7pm as evening drinks at the bar on balmy summer nights overlooking the city would be lovely. Our room was great with a bed so big you have to look for one another in it! All bathroom bits supplied which was a lovely touch - view not brill but we weren't in the room much. Not far from the Metro so easy to get around the city. As for the graffiti that some people have commented on, its hardly worth a mention - If you come in on the metro from the airport, you will see that graffiti appears to be part and parcel of the city and surrounding areas and it's far from offensive and is minimal around the hotel. Lots of eateries on the marina but they dont appear to like people using the restaurants for a drink only at lunch time... they only want diners which can work out expensive on the beach front .... Use the bars that are actually on the beach. Hotel drink prices were cheap in comparison to those on the marina front.All in all - great hotel in good location and we certainly will be back

We went to Barcelona for a quick weekend trip in mid april and stayed at the H10 Marina. I got the hotel as part of a flight/accommodation package as it was arranged shortly before departure. We arrived to helpful staff, who shared pleasantries, maps and general help. The room was a roomy, with a very large firm bed which i wish I could bought home with me. The walls were quite thin which was a downside.We ordered room service which came promptly and was reasonable in price. It was nothing flash but filled the hole in the tum.Would stay again if we were in Barcelona.

i stayed at the H10 marina hotel last month for my sisters hen weekend!I wanted to pre book the clubs and restaurants as there where quite a few of us and i didn't want to turn up to a restaurant and be turned away. We sent what seems like 50 emails before we even arrived and there was a quick response to each one! They got us on the guest-list for 2 clubs shoko and Opium and booked 2 restaurants as well ! Which was so so helpful!We had a problem with one of the rooms as one of the hens dropped out last minute! we had already payed the full cost of the room so were expecting to loose the money. However they gave us ¿¿¿200 to spend in the hotel. Which was great because it meant we could treat our hen and her chicks to extras. Champagne in the room on arrival for 19 girls, 19 cosmos, and all of the girls mini bar charges for the whole weekend. With some left over! They ordered taxis for us every night! Although be careful that you don't make them wait because they put the meter on as they pull up to the hotel!The staff also let us use areas of the hotels for hen games. All of our rooms where next to each other which was great for getting everyone organised and ready to go!The location of the hotel was a 5 min walk to Port Olympic! but i would recommend cabs or metro to get to the main strip. The breakfast where amazing. Anything you could think of was there, from and full english to strawberry water. I looked forward to it every morning! Sometimes there was a que to get in but its worth the wait!All in all a great stay! would defiantly reccomend for hen and stags!

Where to start: It looks to be a relatively new hotel and just a few blocks from the Metro but they are clearly not suited for international travelers. The second day, they cleaned the room, took the towels but only replaced one towel (no hand towels or face cloths). Nor did they replace the toilet paper. Two calls two hours apart to the front desk resulted in NOTHING! Restaurant hours/offerings eh! Very inconvenient! You could hear people in rooms next door to you and in the hall ways. Poorly insulated. The only English speaking television programs was OCCASIONALLY BBC. This hotel showed on line as four stars. We were disappointed even though we always downplay most international hotels (England is an exception) as 4 star hotels in the US is often a 3 star hotel in other countries. We have never written a negative review but.....

I would have given this hotel a full 5/5, but for some problems on our last day which, i'm afraid ruined the whole experience for me.Positives: We chose a junior suite with terrace and I firmly believe it is well worth the extra. As well as a large comfortable room, huge bed with pillow choice, you also get some other added benefits that they call 'Privileged' which we fully enjoyed! For instance, the minibar in your room is free. Yes free! Eat and drink it dry and they re-stock the next day with no extra charge. Also, as well as a normal bar area, there is for 'privileged' guests a wonderful lounge which you access with your room key, fully stocked with wines, spirits, champagne as well as fruit, sweets, pastries etc... again all for free!Negatives: There almost wasn't any, but the level of disrespect and discourteous manner I was shown on my last day, not once but twice was enough to ruin this experience for me. Hotels are not only a service industry but a pleasure industry, their principal requirement is to ensure that I have what I want when I want with a smile. They sell an illusion of a wonderful life for those brief and few days you are with them, before you return to your normal stress filled life. I do not appreciate being spoken to as if I am some kind of fool. Being in the service industry myself I would say, that even when I think I am right, I still DO NOT speak to people in this manner, and I most certainly do not argue with them. I would immediately apologise, and get whatever my customer needs. I am not a judge, I do not care who is right and who is wrong. My customer is not happy? Make them happy. What was it all about? Two things. Firstly, I ordered room service. Two pastas. One was a reasonable portion, the other barely covered the bottom of the bowl, literally. I called down to room service to point out that one of the pastas was not as I expected and that there was very little in the bowl. I was told that this is what it is!! Excuse me? I'm sorry, how about you come up here and look as someone has made a blatant mistake! No, this is what it is, I was told. Well this can't be right I suggested, as I ordered two pastas and they look VERY different in portion size. I hear a giggle and am told again, that this is what it is. I'm not going to argue with this person so I order another pasta, which I am charged for and guess what, this one was a reasonable size.The second problem was as I checked out, I was told about the Hotel's transfer service. I asked how much it was and was told ¿¿¿30 fixed price. Well, I paid slightly less than that for a taxi so I declined. I was told that there would be traffic and that the taxi would probably cost between ¿¿¿30 - ¿¿¿40 at this time. Ok, I agreed we got loaded up and off we went. When we arrived at the airport my wife enters the terminal and I deal with the driver. I hand him ¿¿¿50 and I receive ¿¿¿15 change?!? Excuse me?? Long story short, I call the hotel who argue with me, yes argue, that they said ¿¿¿35 to me. I decide to leave this also, I would have tipped the driver the ¿¿¿5 anyway but that is not the point. I enter the terminal and immediately ask my wife what we were told at the hotel about the transfer. She responds ¿¿¿30 without hesitation!So basically twice, I was lied to, spoken to discourteously and I PAID FOR IT TOO!!I will never use this hotel or its chain again. I hope you do not either!
