I checked in...for one night stay on a Saturday.....after enjoying the riverwalk. We go back to the room for a restfulNight sleep before driving back hm. No Rest at all...about 11 pm started hearing this loud noise. Start and stopAll night. About 4am got up and checked out,

Stayed at this property for 6 nights. I found the staff to be helpful and the priority club turn down service with nightly snack was an unexpected treat. Short walk to many restaurants. Not directly on the Riverwalk but access was close enough. Downside: Although on the Priority club level I found the room to be the complete opposite of sound proof. Nightly I heard doors closing from the hallway, I could also hear the person in the room next to me clap as "we both watched" the NCAA tournament games. The heating/cooling system made noises all night long although, I didn't even turn the unit on because the weather was so mild but still it rattled and to top it off I could hear the elevator each time it arrived or departed the floor. Decent hotel but I was very disappointed with noise level.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for an anniversary getaway weekend. First of all, when we checked in we paid for self parking in the parking garage. When we went into the parking garage, the room key that has to be swiped wouldn't hardly work..After sitting there for 5 minutes trying to get the key to work, it finally worked. Then when we finally got to our room, it was hot and there were no robes available that supposedly came with the room.. We had to call the front desk to get them. The room is not at all what we expected. It was very small with a very small bathroom. The countertops are very low. The showerhead was awful with barely any water pressure. There were only 2 working elevators to accommodate all 21 floors of the hotel. We were on the 18th floor and it would stop at every floor. Needless to say, it took us about 15-20 minutes just to get from our room to the lobby and back up every time we got on and off the elevator. The only good part to the room was the location to the riverwalk, but all the other attractions, Alamo, etc. was a pretty good walk. Also, the room has bottled waters provided. Since we didn't drink the bottled waters while we were there, we took them with us and didn't find out until we got home and checked our banking account that we were charged for the 'complimentary" waters. Also, I almost forgot to mention, there was "used" bra in our floor by the curtains so I wonder to what extent it's actually been cleaned. The hot tub and breakfast, however, were very good, but that's about the only good rating that I can give this hotel. We probably will not be returning.

I stayed here on Saturday April 27th to April 30th for a Facility Managers conference, check in went smooth and my room was ready, the room was at the end of the corridor and in the room next to us were some younger people there for the Fiesta, they were loud at 5 PM and again around Mid Night when they returned from the Fiesta parade but nothing crazy. I did hear what appeared to be someone from the hotel ask them to quiet down and they did. The room was clean and I did not see many issues others talk about, $119 night was very reasonable during Fiesta. The gym and pool area were very clean and nice, we enjoyed buffet breakfast each morning and the front desk steered us to a great Texas Bar B Q place one day for lunch and a great Steakhouse one night for dinner. All staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The entrance to the Riverwalk was just across the street and maybe 4 blocks or so to get to the area with shops and restaurants, but the walk getting there was very nice clean and lined with beautiful vegetation. The Sunday after everyone visiting for Fiesta checked out of the hotel the common areas needed a good cleaning ( also remember this is a Holiday weekend also in San Antonio) by Monday morning everything was clean and in great shape including mirrors in elevators and corridors, Sunday morning so many people checked out all together that all four elevators were occupied all the time ( not the hotels fault) The hotel offers a green cleaning option if any night you do not need maid service you leave a card on the door and they give you a $5 gift card, we opted for this one night as our room was very clean and we are very neat, maid gave us few extra towels. All and All we really enjoyed the Conference, Hotel and San Antonio including Saturday nights parade of lights, did a hell of a lot of walking opted not to rent a car and the Alamo was about 4 blocks away as was the Steak and Bar B Q restaurant so anyone complaining about dining being a distance must get tired in one block! The only negative was at the Conferences banquet dinner chicken was served with some sort of cream chicken sauce my wife asked for the chicken plain and they said that could not be done?? They gave her an extra salad and vegetable platter instead.

This hotel is located on the northern section of the Riverwalk just a 5 min walk from the main loop of the river. There is easy access to the Riverwalk from the hotel including a elevator for those that cannot manage the stairs. It is a short 5-10 min walk to the Alamo, etc.Hotel staff were very helpful during our stay. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable. On site is a small gym and a outdoor heated swimming pool with a hot tub with great views.
