Good hotel with some down sides
I've been a few times in this hotel. It is rather far from Florence, so if your plan is to visit the city (or have business meetings there), that's not a great location as basically unreachable without a car. As well, be sure to ask for a room not facing the road, or can be very noisy. Hotel structure is very nice, beds are comfortable, and very reasonably priced.

Good stay in the Tuscany!
I traveled to Borgo Sant'Ippolito this february for a work meeting. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes away by car from Florence, although to visit Florence is much better to drive to the small village the hotel is in train station, and take a train to Florence. It will leave you in the center and very near to the Duomo and all the turism attractions by foot.The hotel is nice enough, the room was spacious and very clean, with a view to the vineyards around the road. Breakfast did not offer a very wide selection, but it was more than enough to find something to eat. We had lunch in the hotel and the food was pretty good too, Italian typical foods.If I return to Tuscany I will consider staying at the hotel again, since it's quite near to everywhere (Florence, Pisa, Etc.) and the rooms and service was very lovely.

Friendly
This country hotel in Tuscanny is lovely. Very well situated for Pisa, Sienna and Florence. The manager and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived on Easter Sunday and the hotel was quite busy. Our room was nice, but the single bed for our daughter could have been put in a different place so it didn't feel cramped. The room was clean and the most comfortable bed. The towels were lovely and soft as well.Our safe didn't work properly but the manager sorted that by giving us the key to use instead.We didn't realise that the bar/restaurant is only open every second night, so when we went down for a drink they were closed. It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.The only downside to the room was that if the wondows and shutters weren't closed you could hear the noise of the traffic outside, as it is situated right next to road. It was fine but in summer when it's hot it might be different.The staff were very helpful with directing us to Florence. They sell train tickets at the hotel and the station in Montelupe is only about a 10 min drive from the hotel. There is a free car park there, which we struggled to find at first. You have to go under the bridge and the car park entrance is about 100m on your right.

Beautiful, peaceful!
After the history in Florence we enjoyed the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in this small beautiful hotel. All was perfect although we are real food lovers and we thought the standard of cooking was good but not excellent. Never mind though, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.The staff were very helpful at any time. We will definitively go back!

Very nice hotel with a proffesional staff
We stayed here for7 nights on our trip to Italy and it was the best hotel of our roundtrip. The service was wonderfull, if you asked something to the staff they will help you instandly. And the food in the restaurant was very good. If we go to Italy again this hotel will be our first choice
