Good Location
I stayed at this hotel for a few days in-between a cruise and a tour, it's within comfortable walking distance to Robson and Granville streets which have plenty of good places to eat and good shopping options.

Good location
Another sandman hotel which was just ok. It was a very good location with an easy walk To gastown and. Robson street. The hotel was clean and room was spacious . It is a very basic hotel and often had to wait for to use the lift .Did not eat here. Was ok for a couple of nights, was on high floor so no noise which was a. Positive. Decor nothing exciting probably could do with refurbishment .

Adequate
We stayed for three nights before moving to Vancouver Island. Staff were helpful. Room was clean but no dressing gowns and very small bathroom, luckily we are average build. no bedside table with light on one side of bed which my husband was not happy about. We returned two days later and were upgraded which we appreciated but again no dressing gown or bedside table on one side. Good location. Restaurant attached good and staff efficient.

Very disappointed
Stayed there for 5 nights and would not do so again. Room was very noisy due to an ice machine against one of the wall that made a mechanical sound all night and then periodically belched out ice. The refrigerator in the room made knocking sounds every half hour or so, waking me up. The bathroom is spacious but so poorly designed that you have to get out of the tub and take 3 steps to reach a towel which are piled on a shelf beside the sink. No hooks or towel racks anywhere near the tub. The chain link security system on the door was improperly installed with the bracket on the door being backwards so that if someone pushed on the door, the chain would come unlatched. Many small inconveniences that would suggest no one from hotel management has ever stayed there!

We are just coming to the end of are stay here,after 2weeks and we found the hotel clean friendly and very central for vancouver , I read different reviews before I came so I was a bit apprehensive , if you do come to Vancouver be careful when going to gas town , if you turn right and go through Chinatown you seem to hit skid row and there is a lot of down and outs there, but Vancouver is a great city to visit ,lots to do and see , The best thing of all is The Rockie Mountain train , if anyone has a bucket list you must do the train is amazing gold leaf is the only way to do it , it's an amazing trip of a lifetime the views of the Rockies are some of the best I've ever seen in my life ,and we have travelled around the world and seen most of the things you want to see , but they are breathtaking , so folks I would recommend this hotel and this city . I have stayed in better hotels but for the money I payed and for a comfortable bed after a hard days sightseeing it was good enough , I suppose it depends on your budget ,but the room had everything I needed wi fi , tv and plenty of clean towels so that's all I can say .
