Lovely Island Getaway
We stayed at the Bali Hai Beach Huts for 2 days as part of our honeymoon,We loved it here and wished we had booked to stay longer. The beach huts are small but is added to the romance. We were in hut number 3 which was right on the beach. We had our own bathroom with power shower and the hut had a/c and a safe. It didn't have a hair dryer but did have electricity if you took one!! The Beach Club where the huts are is lovely.... Nice pool, nice food and good activities. The beach is really nice and it was beautiful watching the sun go down from our balcony. Would definitely stay again.

everything we expected from a getaway honeymoon Island
My wife and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip in Indonesia. We absolutely loved it. It is everything we expected from a getaway honeymoon Island. Our hut was as close to the beach as possible. It is a wooden hut, so do not expect I complete isolated room. There is airconditioning tough. The bathroom was renovated and ok. The food in the ressort was nice and good. Most people visit this as a daytrip, but it is really worth it to stay a couple of days. We were in the lowseason and only two huts were occupied, so we don't know whether it is very crowded in the high season.

3 days and nights at hai tide huts
We started our two week holiday in Indonesia with a trip to the hai tide huts. Upon arrival I was instantly blown away by the charming resort. The huts are beautifully crafted and the resort includes a fabulous pool (with shaded areas and a volleyball net) as well as luscious gardens. Reading other reviews, there is a trend that the resort is bombarded by noisy day trippers each day. This is true, but the hustle and bustle quickly dies down when the last boats leave in the afternoon and then the beach is virtually isolated. We were at a bit of a loss as to what to do in the evenings. The strip consists of around 4 restaurants which seemed to stop serving between 9 and 10pm so early nights were enforced. Some relaxed entertainment such as live music or a fire show would have made a massive difference where it offered by the resort, however as mentioned in previous reviews, there seems to be more of a focus on entertaining day trippers. We stayed in a superior beach front hut which( despite the noise each morning from the boats) is one of my favourite rooms I have ever stayed in. The rooms would benefit from mosquito nets as they didn't appear to be completely sealed and we got numerous bites during the nights.Nusa lembongen is a fabulous island and definitely worth a visit. Leaving the resort via the back entrance, we were able to rent A scooter (with fuel) for the day for 50rupiah. We visited the beach at the mangroves and did some paddle boarding. We also visited devils tear and dream beach which made for a fabulous day trip. There are numerous little restaurants dotted along the back of the resort but it is pitch black to walk there so we gave it a miss in the evenings. If I were to return to Nusa lembongen again, I would probably consider an alternative resort due to the shortcomings mentioned above which is a shame because this resort holds so much potential were staff to provide a little more customer service. I would share the views of other reviewers that staff were at best unfriendly and at worst rude. Similarly, small things such as the daily BBQ being included for day trippers but as guests paying approx $136 per person each per night would cost an additional ¿¿10 was disappointing. Also for anyone visiting Bali/Lombok/gili it may be advisable to research methanol poisoning before your trip. This is not something specific to Bali hai tide huts but just something to be aware of.

Overpriced and overrated with spoilt, unfriendly staff
Well, where do I start? The positive:Having been here before, we thought we would bring some friends with us on their first visit to Bali and treat them to a stay in the Hai Tide Huts. Being a young couple, they were suitably impressed with the huts and the overall ambience and romanticism of their stay. The huts are nice, and we give positive feedback for our stay in the actual huts. But that's where it ends...The Negatives:From the moment we arrived we were faced with staff who were both disinterested in us, or our relaxation experience. they appeared preoccupied with scheming ways to line their own pockets with gratuities and tips. They were surly and quite unfriendly and really only seemed interested in the welfare of guests when it may involve a tip or baksheesh!!The resort is overtaken daily with obnoxiously loud day trippers, who the staff seem more interested in catering for than guests paying premium dollars for a relaxing stay. The reason for this?TIPS!!Pure and simple, it's all the staff seem interested in.The many years of boat loads full of obnoxiously loud tourists coming to Mushroom Bay has severely altered the way these staff operate, they are fat with tips from these day trippers, thus making them spoilt. This is evidenced in the policing of the 'Guest Only' areas of the resort. It simply did not happen, and in quite a few instances we were forced to request staff to ask day trippers to vacate the day beds within the 'Guest Only' area. A couple of audacious young Japanese girls even climbing the stairs of a hut to have a look inside decided they would then take up residence on the beds under the hut... All under the eyes of a watchful, but inactive staff member. The pool is lovely, but due to all the 'over-hydrated' day tripping children, it's chlorinated to Chernobyl radiation levels. Not healthy on the eyes at all, let alone to swallow.Breakfast on the first morning (we went elsewhere and paid on subsequent mornings) at Bali Hai was awful. Luckily it's included in the price, as to charge for it would be an insult. The VERY limited option for breakfast seemed to be more about what the staff wanted to present and serve, as opposed to what was advertised and what we ordered. We placed our orders then were presented with three breakfasts that were as per what was advertised. The 4th meal was not what was ordered and because it was now after 9am was whatever the staff had left over. When we commented this was not what we ordered, we were told "Oh, the menu had changed and they had forgotten to alter the (very limited) menu before breakfast" WHY would you not make this statement when we placed our ordesr? WHY wait until you serve up three breakfasts correctly and serve whatever remains for the 4th?The indignation of the staff at the hide of me making a comment "it wasn't good enough" simply seemed to make them less inclined to provide any SERVICE. I asked for each of their names, fully intending to write a letter of concern to the hotel/resort management in Perth upon our return home. The assistant manager came to our table to 'explain' the menu had changed and they were "sorry for the change". Regardless, it still does not give reason of excuse for simple bad, unhelpful service! The day of our departure we were told the "big boat" would not be coming to the island on that day and we had one of three options of Bali Hai boats to use to return to Benoa. We were then later offered another option of catching an earlier scoot boat to Sanur but at a further cost of Rp180k each per person. We decided to explore this option so we would regain most of the day on the mainland. As such we went direct to the scoot boat and were subsequently quoted Rp150k each. Another shining example of lining someone's pockets. It might only be a paltry Rp30k each, but at the end of the day it all adds up and further adds to the insult of substandard service. We left via the scoot fast boat service to Sanur and made the decision we would not ma

Island bliss
Having used Bali Hai so many times in the past, it seemed fitting that I give their on site accommodation a try. Given that some of the huts have just been provisioned with ensuite facilities, this gave me a greater incentive.I will start with reference to some of the other reviews. I'm not sure why they are so negative, I can only assume the guests came misinformed before arrival. Bali Hai is a day cruise company who send guests to Lembongan Island daily, as part of the package they have daytime access to the facilities on the Island including the swimming pool. Generally they are there between 10am and 3pm. The huts are sold as an add on and are not really marketed towards walk in guests.Once the day guests have departed, the Island is blissfully quiet, you can hear the sound of waves in your hut and it really is pleasant and relaxing.I had Hut Number 3 which was an absolute beachfront location, literally seconds from the beach. The hut has air conditioning and a hot water shower and toilet, all of which worked without issues. The staff are always pleasant and approachable. I can't understand why anybody has mentioned otherwise. We ate at the onsite restaurant the first night and the food was perfectly acceptable. We rented a motorbike from the local shop and explored the island during the day which was worth doing.I would without hesitation recommend a night or two staying at Bali Hai Tide Huts. Previous negativity I can only assume is misguided and without foundation.
