Novotel Suva Lami Bay
I stayed 70 days in this hotel. Room was clean, modern and tidyMoved rooms 3 times due to Air condition failure [not a problem]Found that if you left messages at the front desk for House cleaning they never received the message,House cleaning staff were very friendly and the room was always well cleaned.The restaurant need to look at changing it menu or special a little more regular, found staying there as long as I did that the menu became uninspiring so I regularly went out for meals.Rooms have a nice small deck but no furniture on it!Good location out of the bustle of Suva ...road traffic can be noisy

Good Restaurant and Good Location
This is a great place to stay when visiting Suva although it is a 10 minute taxi ride outside of the town, this can be a relief. There hotel has a good waterfront location with all rooms getting sea views and the rennovated rooms having a good interior. The restaurant is also good with high quality food at reasonable prices, the local curry is highly recommended! My only criticism.....they have no snacks to go with drinks at the bar and they have always run out of tamarind chutney to go with the great curry....BRING YOUR OWN!!

Great restaurant, great hotel and great views
My wife and I, in our mid seventies stayed at Novotel, Lami Bay for one night in early May while we visited Suva for a couple of days shopping and sightseeing. We had hired a car from Avis in Nadi and after a few days at the Bedarra Inn, near Sigatoga, drove to the hotel on the outskirts of Suva. We were early but a few words with the duty manager had us comfortably in our rooms, after a delicious lunch in the spacious and scenic restaurant/lounge. Our room was on the ground floor adjacent to the colorful swimming pool and with a lovely view over Lami Bay. The room was comfortable and spacious with an efficient air-conditioning system. Using my Accor card we were able to use the internet at no cost. The car park was spacious; my only complaint being that there is no indication as to what is the exit and entry driveways.

Service with a smile, great cocktails and sunset
Had a lovely stay at the Novotel - it was nice to be located just a little bit out of Suva, although it was still very handy to the city you actually felt like you were at a resort and it made it easy to move from business mode to total relax mode.The big stand out for me here was the courteous and efficient service by the upbeat and friendly staff. The sunsets were awesome and my favourite part of the day here was a cocktail by the pool watching the sunset. A great spot for business or holiday in Suva.

Good Stay
We stayed in Novotel, Suva for the 2nd time on 23rd April 2013. Everything was good. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for 3 adults to stay in comfortably. Only downfall during this stay was that my credit card was charged for the one nights stay even though we had settled our bill in cash. The amount was refunded to my credit card the following day but i had lost $30 due to foreign exchange rates. So I would advise the hotel to please check their processes to ensure guests do not get charged twice. Even though credit was given, I have lost $30 due to the Hotel's error. Not impressed.
